  1. Here is the only pic I have at the moment, but there are a few more on this site somewhere... my approach angles rule. I think the mounts are the same for all of the 95-99 Legacy/Outbacks.
  2. There aren't many in this size, but I am very happy with the one's I picked. I run the Firestone A/T in that size. General make the Grabber A/T tire in that size, and they are rated pretty well. Here is a link you can use as a starter: Tire Rack search for 205-75 r15's
  3. With your setup, you are going to have some rubbing issues with the 225/70's. Trust me Try a set of 205-75 r15's.
  4. The part numbers are listed on the King website and you can order them from Renick Motorsports.com under the Scorpion name. Here is a picture of my OBW w/ the springs and GR2 strut setup. For what it's worth.
  5. I really want to say, "I will run you and your 'little' old wagon over with my OutBaK!"... But I can't. New gen haters.
  6. I think you would be very happy with a set of KYB GR2s. They ride smooth with the stock springs. You can find the struts at Tire Rack or another dealer of your choosing. You can also try the search function to find a few other opinions on subject.
  7. If only this site had the blue shakey head face... ~sigh~ Sorry I missed out on the fun this time. Don being fitted with a new bumper, so hopefully he'll be ready for the next one.
  8. I have not heard of any head gasket issues with the post 03 2.5 motors. I think you can rest easy.
  9. The head gaskets blew on the old 2.5 at 192k, so I went out, found the parts I wanted to use. After everything was collected, I took the pieces to CCR and had them build a new 2.5 motor
  10. The server is doing some very strange things this morning
  11. Here is a cheap solution: mini neodymium magnets! You can find them at the local Target or Wal Mart. I had some round ones at home already. They are small, but pretty strong... perfect to stop a latchless fuel door from flopping around. I stacked two of the magnets together and placed them on the metal retainer clip thingie (holds the old latch assembly in place) on the inside of the door. There are also two old rubber stoppers that you may have to trim just a bit. The magnets will hold the door shut until you need to open it again.
  12. I have been using a squeegee for years. You can find 'em at any gas station...
  13. I found the hazard flasher unit... finally. What a pain, but at least it is fixed
  14. I run the 205/75/15 Firestone Destination AT as well... on Forester rims in fact They work really well for my LOBW. No rubbing issues.
  15. Sorry to bump this old thread, but does anyone know where in the heck this stupid thing is actually located? I need to replace mine and cannot find it anywhere. Manual says it is near the fuse box, but I don't see it there.
  16. Somewhere along the drive up...snow! Don in a snow drift Shawn's Roo, up on 3 wheels... Up at the top, in mining country...and yes, actually, it IS as cold as it looks. Rufus This is when Shawn pulled out in front of us, nearly T-boning himself. *These pics and post brought to you by Teresa, since Yeti doesn't know how to work the camera.* That was fun, guys! Most of it would've been perfectly suitable for a regular Ru like my LGT.... except without all those deep-snow shenanigans. :-)
  17. Matt, you and Heather should come to the meet this Saturday.
  18. I will try to make it out there with the plus one, Shawn. Not sure if the Colonel is up to the task with his overheating/underheating issues, but meh...
  19. King springs/GR2 struts. A/T tires.
