front suspension lift
Ya do know that you can get adjustable struts for those. They come with a natural 1 and 1/2 inch of lift. . . Camber suffers though.

here we go again... info on T-case set-ups?
Any added info would be great. We'd like to do a better write up for the FAQ at the top of the page. Thanks.

How many converts here?
Did I mention the little soldier logged some 300 miles running back and forth between my old house and my new one as I moved? 11 loads. I love my Toyota. A hatchback would have been useless. A trailer queen woulda been pretty useless too. A Bobbed bed woulda been next to useless.

Flex would be necessary if you wanted to go back up that hill. I didn't need any flex tonight while I was clearing blackberries behind the garage. 12-15 feet tall, the truck ate right thru them. "SCREEEEEEEEEEE" I stopped after about half of what I wanted to clear, There's a hill somewhere in there, and I want to clear out some of the lower stuff before I fall off some unseen cliff. The winch is pointed into the blackberries as I go, it won't be good for much.

But did you offroad a Subaru before you had the Toy? That's what I'm asking here.

How many converts here?
This is a pretty cool site for Toyotas, there's other rigs there too: http://nw-wheelers.com/forum/index.php Say Zap for a reference.

How many converts here?
So almost 10 of us plus phiz' brother. (who probably has the one I'd most like to have out of all of the ones shown. . .) But then again, that diesel smell makes me crazy. At first glance, I wondered why the snorkel was on the wrong side. lol Seeing others makes it that much easier to own mine. So is it time to start up a USMB convert club or what? lol I'm diggin' the fact so many of you went with Toys. I'm sure there's other makes that former Soob off roaders have switched to, but I'm not interested in those so much.

Anybody have RC cars to bring to WCSS9?
cheers!

To a Toyota for your off roader that is. . . ? As in you used to wheel a Soob. A show of hands and a pic of your ride please. Not interested in comments from those who didn't make the switch. . . Mine:

Anybody have RC cars to bring to WCSS9?
You'd have to talk to the show organizers. I'm abstaining from any of that. The only time I tried to organize an R/C event, only two of us brought R/C cars. Then some jackass on Nasioc had the balls to complain about how disapointed he was that there was no R/C event and that his only reason for attending was the R/C event. See where I'm going with this? I'm not gonna be the target of the complaints after this year's show. Cuz there will be some complaining, some whiners are never satisfied. There's lots of cool terrain to play with them there.

CamoBunny?
How close to the Provo area are you? My buddy just moved down there with his 87? GL and will probably need Subaru help at some point. That and he can probably use some time away from the LDS people he works for now. lol

Evans Creek (WA) clean up May 19 & 20
Sorry I couldn't make it. It always amazes me too, just how much crap gets tossed. I have a rule, whenever I'm stopped, I grab stuff from the ground and bushes and toss it in the back of my truck. So, I kinda do a clean-up every time I go out.

Bellingham Area weekly Shopnight @ Scotts
I'd love to help, or even just drop in on one of your nights. But. . . We're in the middle of moving to a new house. It's 25 minutes more south of you.

Good Rally vehicle(s)
Not if you've ever heard the name Bill Price. There's an 85 Audi that always finishes on the podium at the ORG Rally X. 85 whopping horse power. Very fun to watch. When it's muddy, he really flies.

Not a 4X, or is it? Not sure. http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/car/331869383.html For 5 grand you could easily get it shipped to you and have a grand left over to finish it. Looks like a blast.

L series: what lift do i need to run 31"s?
Here's what 31/10.50s look like under a brat. You'll want a transfer case, your a/t 4.44 or whatever won't stand a chance against 31s. At least a 6 inch lift and lots of chopping and banging. Yours is a wagon? You'll need to do some serious beating behind the doors I bet. Your axles will be your new worst enemy unless you do a solid axle swap or something.

USMB pics from ORG recent rallycross!
The Rabbit won the Modified AWD class? That makes two typos. . . The other would be "only" maybe. . . Cool to be mentioned, even if they're kinda saying I got my as kicked. . . lol I WON the first day dammit.

Good Rally vehicle(s)
My experience with the XT6 is that it's competitive, but a lot of work to get it around the track. Ken's is good and built, and lightened ta boot. We entered it and my wife's all but stock 97 L impreza and co-drove them both. We both beat the other one with the impreza. He was faster in the impreza than in the XT6, same with me. If you can find a base model L impreza for cheap, you're good to go. Ken's little 95 brighton (2.5 n/a) swap just went toe to toe with a Turbo Forester driven by a professional rally driver.

Anybody have RC cars to bring to WCSS9?
The black one on the left is indeed the one from Toys r Us. I think it's pretty cool. 40 degrees? I'm not so sure about that. . . but it is much more capable than the big one. Go figure they both use a 9.6 battery, huh? I miss read, I thought it would be a 19.2. Oh well. My boy and I go for walks around a pond at a local park. There are many many tree roots to wheel over. I couldn't have designed a better course. lol The jeep is able to make the whole trip, that being -from the car, -accross teh soccer field, -around the pond (approx 1 /2 mile, dirt and tree roots), -back accross the soccer field, -and to the car. By then it's got juice but not enough to lift the rear tires over the big curbs anymore. Fuly charged, it will blast right over tall curbs. It really sirprised me. It was definitely worth 59 bucks. They will both break in the end. . . The little ones you talked about are completely missing at the stores in my area. I'd stock up if I could find them for 5 bucks. That's a steal you could cash in on on eBay. Tell me about it. Another r/c helicopter wound its way into my house a couple of weeks ago. (My little brother lookin' out for Willie.) I've got an r/c blimp I'm dying to use too. I scored a little r/c submarine, but gave it to my bro's kid. That was a toy I woulda killed for as a kid. Too cool.

USMB pics from ORG recent rallycross!
Nope, completely freaks me out. But most of the pics have that god forsaken water mark accross them so you can't tell who's driving anyways. Makes it tough to order them. . . I like a couple though. And who says wagons aren't sexy?

- What's in your offroad squad? (56k no way)
Yeah, it's always the smallest one at the park. Keep in mind it's open too. :-p I like bringing a knife to a gun fight, if you know what I mean. Here's a highjack for ya. You still got your old birfs? Give em' up. I need one, or will soon. - What's in your offroad squad? (56k no way)
