  4. Looks like Grandpa refused your $100.00 offer, since he is now up to $960.00 on EBAY. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6467&item=2458596153
  5. If they are both non -turbo then you can use the rear end in the Brat and not have to change it. And there are a few of the Brats on this board that have had that change done. (Mine's not one of them) But I am going to do the same thing.
  6. if you want to try using the auto. a little long find a nother core and drain the front diff and fill it with lucas it should help. lucas actually climbs the gear wear gear oil just kinda sits there just a thought oh if you need a nother core i have a few
  7. i'd use a tow dolly it will cost you the same to rent a dolly as it would to buy a tow bar that and you have to keep checking the safety chains and the tow dolly will handle better
  8. have you checked the carb. i bought a brat with no nose on it sat almost a year like that screwed the carb all up be open to the weather like that
  9. sounds like you stripped out a hub but if you've done this then you'll want to replace both hub and shaft if you can see the axle nut put it in 2wd put it in gear with it running and watch the axle nuts
  10. i would try running a 195/60/15 which you should be able to find tons of then around .they should give you a lower stance and better handling in the corners
  11. i think they have a 14 gallon tank so more then likely your gauge is off
  12. i use a adjustable wrench or a 13/16 i think to break them free that and its best if you heat them up first they will turn much easier if you do that and soak them down with pb blast
  13. did you try putting the old wires back on to see if it went away unless you were having problems with them too
  14. i'd try the bars but more than likely your looking at gasket time because the bars won't last that long if it work's at all
  15. have you done any brake work lately cause it could be a loose pad because missing retainer clip or broken one
  16. if you put it back in 2wd put in gear and set the e brake with it running you'll be able to tell which one it is and you want to make sure it wasn't a hub that stripped out
  17. you're fine driving around in 4wd the brat i bought this fall was this way and the kid had been driving it that way for almost 10,000 miles he didn't know how to fixs any thing one end of the cv joint had ripped so they had rapped a zip lock baggy around it and that was'nt even the end that went
  18. the motorcycle dealer sell a stuff that they use to clean and deyellow the windsheild and face sheilds
  19. i seen that to and thought it was home made cause it looked like the back rest off of a motorcycle
  20. is the button clicking and disingaging when you push it
  21. it on the passenger side right behind the seat line .you could of asked me when i sent you the fuel pump:eek: just kidding
