  6. compared to most body lift that was one of the easiest one's i've ever done.i did mine in just under 5 hours by my self and i found the rear to be more difficult. because the front if you leave the farthest to the rear bolt just loose it keeps every thing inline and don't over tighten the 6 engine cross member bolts you'll crush the front frame rails if you do. good luck:argue: don't beat your self up to much:madder:

  13. it sounds like you have a bad connection some were your best bet is to leave the key in the on postion and go around and start jiggling wires around near your fuseable link box first they like to corrode under the box then double check all of your connections under the hood
  14. that is definatley 80-81 with the single square headlight i have the same exact one in front of me that subawoohoo just bought
  15. Qman had a set of jackmans in the market place for sale that would fit it which is the white spoke of that time
  16. they reccomend that you replace them every 50,000 mile's as part of the tune up
  17. have you checked all of your fuse's my the horn fuse would blow and it would cut power to disty and fuel pump odd?

  19. find a way to put them on unless you want to change timing belts on a regular basis timing belts hate weather
  20. what i had to do when that started to happen with mine is shift from 4th down to 2nd then back up to 3rd that and around that i couldn't shift into 1st with out coming to a complete stop which sucked
  21. you'll want to check the inside first but they should still sell them last i seen they were $30-35 for a new one i can get you coulpe if you'd like $25 shipped
  22. go to napa and by a bottle of leak dye for oil put it in your oil and by the sounds it will show up after 4or5 miles you will need a black light to see the dye but it will be obvious:cool:
  23. ya usually when some meat heads change the oil they forget the gasket and then crank that plug in which make it like its welded on.any of the lubes should be able to suck it dry with their rear diff. evac. systems .that cars had a hard life at the lube guys hand by the sound of it.hope your luck starts to go the other way with it now :cool:
  24. easy if its not power steering but still not diffcult with it shouldn't take you more then a couple of hours
