yeah i have an ea81 and it does say dont adjust valve clearance on a gold sticker.. thast why I had a hunch that it was a newer motor.. and it has alot of power like a newer motor.. so thast sweet to know that I have a diff motor in there so that could mean that my miles arent very high, which doesnt matter with soob to much cause they run forever especially the ea81 and 71

I rub up against a tree pops em right off.

Hatchy's rig has a single range 4 speed side starter mount. I don't see those much.

Look out for the cops if you don't have tabs.

I'm not looking for a new carb now, just wondering if I can score some parts like an accelerator pump. Carb is on the motor now and runs and drives, but I'm gonna take it apart and clean it up, and maybe rig up a mechanical secondary linkage with coathanger wire.

I have alot of towstrap miles under my belt, two 4wd wagons no prob.

Compared by most other peeps specs, I need larger tires to gain 2" clearance on my 'turned the torsion bars down a notch' lift.

Yeah, torn a couple boots, but if I keep the flat side toward the boot, less liability. But, easy fix, and will last a real long time, unless I gotta 'tear' it apart again.

Those dents on the pass. fender shoulda knocked off a grand.(body shop est.)

I also have a mechanical secondary carb that'll bolt right up to the EA81. I think it's a Hitachi, I thought it's for a '70's Toyota, but not sure.

On my JDM manifold, the bolt spacing is spread more than the US EA81. I was told by the importer I got one of the last JDM EA series. I aquired the motor back '98 or '99. I probably have a US spec manifold somewhere in my mass heap of old school Subaru goodies.

I've had hesitation with my EA71, dismantled the carb and cleaned it out real good, then it ran soooooooooooo sweet and smooth.

I was just curious because my toyota ran like crap because of egr beeing off it made it overheat
