  1. I gotta try that. Ever think about a Hurst or B&M shift knob?
  2. I gotta get my Brat registered....Damn fines!
  3. I've broken many a bolt on my EA71, had to helicoil alot after drilling em out. I like using new bolts if possible.
  4. There's a ferry between Edmonds and Bainbridge? Thats new to me.
  5. Playing around at Reiter?
  6. Sweet cosmetic surgery.
  7. I've wrecked a car twice and cost me less than $200 to fix, but I sold it as a parts car for $50, but kept the most valuable goodies, mint taillight lenses, embalems(sp?) grille, headlight assembly, trim. Rare car now ('74 Celica GT, first year of GT in US.) I really liked that old car, reminded me of the '67-'69 Camero from the back window/trunk shape. Fun corner burner too. Like a mini muscle car. I even had Big n Little old school hotrod tires on Supra alloys. And a straight pipe from the downpipe back to before the rear axle.
  8. Cool, I didn't know they had lots of AM 5 lug rims.
  9. I've noticed how the front tires like to tuck toe-in on hard acceleration(burnout). That may be why I've worn the outter tread real bad on my '80.
  10. I had my heads milled for 25 bux each. I've been told you MUST mill aluminum heads every time they are removed. I like making my own gaskets, pretty much every one except head and exhaust. Saves hella money, and don't have to wait for an order to come in. I bought an entire gasket set and it retailed for almost 200 bux! But I know an employee (former) who hooked me up with a discount.
  11. I can see the roof of my brutally killed Tercel in your avatar pic HATCHY.
  12. Cool, I gotta go down there tomorrow, but my wagon ain't street legal at the moment, and I don't like Lynnwood cops. I don't like any cops anyway.
  13. My Brat was sold at Carter I think, the front plate frame says 'Carter'. The rear plate frame is 'Roy Robinson ' in Marysville.
  14. No, I'm still ripping parts off it.
  15. Did they have any older two square headlight GL's? I broke my turn signal lense last night.
  16. Just put the tank from the parts wagon in the Brat. Cleaned it out real good first though, some plastic crap was in there. I've been finding nasty stuff in my gas tanks for some reason. No more Arco. Quality fuel from now on. Now I gotta go disconnect some filters so I can blast pressurized air through the system to make sure the whole fuel system is clean before I hook everything up and fire it over.
  17. I would convert to 6 lug. More rim options.
  18. Some of my Subaru keys says Datsun on em. They all are pretty much the same, worn out little sticks of brass.
  19. Rather get progressive springs in the front instead of cutting the stockies. Drop the torsion bars a notch and get adjustable coilovers for fine tuning.
  20. If it don't fit or work, improvise! I manage to make things fit/work that way somehow.
  21. If I don't have the clearance, I just give more right foot and clear it.(or get hung up)
  22. Bone stock ain't all that bad, git er through some deep shizzle and get wierd looks from all those dudes in their big jacked up rigs. (How the hell did you get all the way up there!!??)
  23. My mom used to have a 2wd hatch, got rearended by a Ford. Go to the doc and get Percocet and Vicodin 750 and then stop and get some booze. Sleep real good, no matter the pain.
  24. Hatchy, when did you take my car? I'm gonna joyride your hatch at the street races!
