  1. I suggest you to Use the NGK´s BPR6EY11... the ones with the "Y" Cut... Those Work Great on EA Engined Subies...
  2. Welcome! Well... that car is a Great Car, but Also I hate Auto Trannys... Maybe you can get Lower Price. Also the Gurglin´ Noise that you Hear can be made by Other Things, not Only Water... Maybe the Heather... So, I suggest you to Drive it More... Test it, so you can Check if it has Higher Temps on the Engine... that can Lead to a Bad Head Gaskets... Could you post here Pics? Good Luck!
  3. Nice Invitation! But now I ran Out of Money... :-\ ...But Thanx! About the Fussible Links: The Black Box attached to the Coolant Reservoir on the Engine´s Bay got ´em. Check for Rusted / Weak Wires \ Contacts. Those was makin´ same problems on my EA82 Subie, so I elliminate the Fussible Links in 1994, welding strong auto electrical wires instead of the Box, and Wrapped in fat Electrical Tape. Also I added More Grounds to the Engine, one more from the Battery to the Engine, and one from the Engine to the Car´s Body. No Problems with that since 1994... Good Luck!
  4. Oh my God! ... ... What a Dissaster! Glad to Hear You are good! But I´m not Sure about what Exactly is the "U" Joint... Could you Post here some Pics about?
  5. I think that your Subie´s Problem can Also be Done by one of This: Bad Grounding, or Loosen Fussible Links... (or Similar Posibilities) I think that is Electrical... Good Luck!

  11. in my Country, I just seen Two... Nice Idea, but to make Convertible any Car, you need to Reinforce the Frame (Chassis) ´cos there´s no Roof to Hold the Torsion... Good Luck!
  12. I don´t have Pics, but I made somethin´ Almost the Same on my EA82, and you´re Right, it Flows Better.

  18. Excuse me for the Question, but: Are you Sure that Stuff aren´t Avaliable from Japan? I say that, ´cos Sometimes I need some Stuff from the Dealer for my Subies / Other Persons Subies that I´ve Repaired, and if they are Unavaliable, the Dealer can Ask Directly to Japan for the Stuff I Need, and if I wait a Month or Two, the Stuff come, Always. (Well, untill Yet) the Problem is the Time it Takes... I suggest to Try Other Dealer as Far as it´s Possible. Good Luck!

  23. That´s Why I Eliminated in 1994 the Fussible Links of my EA82, and Placed Direct Welded Wires... I leave one of the Battery´s Terminals not too Tight, to Remove it in a Emergency case... Never had any Problem.
