  1. your brat should be worth $700, look at this one, it sounds comparable eccept it runs. (no its not a turbo, i asked) http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/car/180187761.html
  2. yeah, the windows are very different, forgot about that.
  3. heres the list. ANY 1980-1984 Wagon ANY 1980-1984 coupe ANY 1982-1987 Brat ANY 1980-1988 Hatchback (not fastback) ANY 1980-1984 Sedan anything else will not fit. doors are interchangeable between brats, coupes, and hatchbacks.
  4. $15-25 a wheels is usually the standard price for most suby alloys. depends on condition
  5. my hatch did the same exact thing. after about 15 tries it would finally get a connection, and start like nothing happened. mine turned out to be the electrical ignition switch. replaced that now it starts every time.....
  6. AWESOME! i had that style lights in my old mazda p/u, and i always thought that was so much cooler than the usual white or green lit dash's:headbang:
  7. COOL! i never realized the height difference between the gt's and OB's:eek: tell your bro to put on them new fenders! lol
  8. looks redneck for sure....... for the extra couple bucks, i would buy flexy flares though, they're shaped better, and readilly available around here anyway.....
  9. i think you could pull $600-800 for it, but that is also a +/- estimate.
  10. why not just use a suzuki swift gt engine and trans? they are 1300cc, with 5sp and reverse. they are very simular to a crotch rocket motorcycle engine, dohc. heck, they even sound like a crotch rocket lol. those motors have a crazy power band like a bike, it kicks in at like 6-7k rpm. just something to consider........
  11. waiting till last minute to fix my rig kicked me in the arse:mad: freakin autozone mailed me the wrong clutch:mad: :-\ still have to get the hatch reg'd too. things are looking grim for the 15th. i`m with Brucey, might it AT ALL be possible to post-pone this just a couple weeks? i can even wait till the end of the summer, any weekend is fine with me, just not this weekend.if not, thats ok too, i will still meet you guys sometime THIS year!!
  12. i think its a 73, looks saveable, but probly not feasable. that is a shame tho:-\ someone should grab the tailgate assembly, that is a rare piece.....
  13. its already been discussed http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=61018
  14. i would rock a subie camper if it looked like this: door would be on the back:D
  15. looks good Zap! fab up some tube bumpers for that thing! ....like Andy's:grin:
  16. yeah man, pics would be awesome! i bet if his aunt was there she could be persuaded to sell:rolleyes: by the sounds of the car, the kid probly wants her to give it to him lol
  17. usually $20, but i've known the guy for a few years. he also does alternators, and other electrical motors.
  18. just another option, drop the price on the car itself and let someone else deal with finding and installing the starter..........it is a pretty easy swap though, i usually just get mine rebuilt by a local shop here.
  19. Awesome!! looks like you do have a hell of a load on the poor imp:lol: it looks short compared to its usual height. it must have been a real chore to offroad with that trailer weighing you down lol:brow:
  20. i thought that was a subaru lol:banana: its a 78 or 79 with single range 4wd. would be worth $100 or 200 by the sounds of it....
  21. man, i have to see this thing in action fishums! are you sporting dual webers or just a single? are you going to put the pugs on? i have a set of 13in mags sitting here that are the widest i have ever seen. i`ll have to drop a b18 in my honda and see who wins lol:lol:
  22. its funny, i still remember when that car was on ebay! didn`t it go real cheap or something, and it ended up being a beauty? glad to hear things are working out for you:banana:
