Mattys ride is hot looking. Nice modded lights BTW. 700w from the stock location sure is nice i'd bet.

Thanks. 2" body lift and OB struts. Plus a 5spd. D/R, and an LSD. The trans is the really fun part.
-
Personally i think that would be more work. But hey......... Reasonably you can lift one your self for a few hundred and a welder. I did not lift mine but have pretty much had the whole car apart since i bought it. It was lifted with 2" aluminum blocks to drop the drivetrain and 98' OB struts for a littlle more lift. Plus it'as a 90' , But here's some pics:clap: One of my favorites.

During the day. They are cheapo 55w lights from meijer. $14.99 They work really nice at night. I am gonna mount 4 more on the roof by the crossbars. If i rip them off or break them. I won't really care.

OMG. KIA POWA!

Well. i don't have an ea82 but......... I do have a similar drivetrain.... Ej22 with an ea82 d/r 5spd so i thought i would chime in............ I have no problem running BFG AT 215/75/15's which are 28.5's . I realistically think with my car if i could stuff them under the struts:-\ (not likely) i could run 31's with hardley any power issues. I can spin my fronts at will on dry pavement now. Not that i do it on purpose. I did it the first time accidentally. I can also spin all 4 in low with little effort. Just my exp. Might help................

THANKS! It's really fun. I need some better tires though:-\ All in all it does pretty well.

what type of tranny oil to use in EA81 5 speed

I use the valvoline 75w 90 in my ea82 5 spd d/r. Seems to work pretty well. I am getting ready to change it out though has anybody tried or use the "(NASIOC)uncle scotty;s cocktail" ? It;s 1qt redline shock proof, 1qt gm syncromesh and the rest 75w90. -
400 whp is tough even with the new 2.5. I would say he'd need at gt series rotated turbo or the UR t3/t4 kit. Very nice kit IMO. Anyway. Bigger injectors, fuel pump, rails, Intercooler FMIC most likely. It will almost require a better trans and clutch. Also bigger Turbo back exhaust and a ext wategate setup, headers. Also like said earlier good EM and someone who can tune it. he's looking at 10k easy juat so he knows.

Yeah i know. I was a little worried. I checked it and there was no water even close to the air filter so.......... But i definately need a snorkel.

Went wheelin again with buddy in his pathfinder. The P was very limited but made it through quite a bit. It was tricky to find paths for it. Yes thats water in the car. YAY. Didn'y get any pics of the hole i was in. It was scary and i just wanted to get out! Matt workin' it

I did check the oil and it looked good. I only let it run for 5 minutes or so. no bubbles in the coolant for that time. Thanks for advice.

Sounds good. I will update on monday.

I figured it was sorta the same design as the dr just single range. I got underneath it and puonded on some stuff(frame rails and suspension mounting points). I was surprised that there was no rust. The car had been undercoated. Yeah chux i just hope they didn't drive it with the 4wd on on dry pavement. We will see. I am gonna go look at it again on monday and drive it. I am gonna take it to another parking lot and look it over more closely as far as the rust goes. I am thinking if he goes for the 500 it'll be a good deal. I will probably not budge off that price. Thanks for the info on the TB's Bill90Loyale. Thats good to know. That was one of my big worries with the mileage. Were these motors also pone to HG problems? The guy am buying this off of knows Absolutly nothing ablut subaru's, so that could be good and bad.

Thanks for the advice. I was really thinking 500. I just did not want to insult him which i may any way so......... Timing Belt and tune up was def on the list of first things to do. Luckily my wife is a NAPA store manager so i get huge discounts on parts. So the tune up stuff will be pretty cheap. Well i am gonna drive it and shoot the offer on monday and we will see what happens.

Hey, i just got a line on a 94 loyale awd(button one the shifter knob) 5 speed. The front fenders are rusted and so is the rear around the wheels. It is loaded as far as options and has a 1.8 fi motor. The awd works, and it runs well. Didn't drive it yet. The unitbody is not rusted though. It has 142k miles on it and the "owner" is unsure of the service records. It also has 1 new front axel. It looks like the rear main has been leaking because there is oil all over the crossmember. I would think a TB would be a good idea and also a reseal. It also needs some exhaust work. It is completely stock. It is plated and has been driven recently. The guy wants 800 but i am thinking 500. What is a good price for this? Is 800 fair and i am lowballing or would 500 be good? Any help or suggestions welcome.

Sweet looking! -
I have had good luck with NAPA gold on my cars. They are cheap for me(wifey is a NAPA store manager:) ). I have had a dealing with fram. Oil filter had a hole in it with less than 1k miles on my ford f150. I am glad i caught it after only 2 quarts down. I was driving at the time. Entered a parking lot and parked. left about 10 mins later an noticed the fluid trail. Thought, "man some poor sob is loosing som major oil, trans etc". I then realized it was me. :-\
