So. California EA82 Wheeler
Awesome. Keep up the good work. All of your fab work so far has been beautiful (especially the rack...and the whole WRX...)

Taller Gearing?
thatswhatshesaid replied to a post in a topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXAnyone who's driven a MT Subaru will tell you that at 1500 RPM, these engines are turds. That's so far below the powerband, any slight hill would just bog the crap out of your motor.

Opinions on 4EAT vs 5MT, whose driven both?
thatswhatshesaid replied to superu's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXAnd it can only be installed in a 4EAT

thatswhatshesaid replied to superu's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXIt's a switch that electronically "locks up" the AWD unit like a true 4WD.

LIFTS! 2000+ Outback, Legacy, Baja HIGHGUYS!
Is the website operational yet? I'm stoked to see lifts for my generation of car! Have you installed any of the 6" kits? I'm wondering how the suspension/steering components/axles hold up... Do you know what tire size will work on 2000-2004 Outbacks with your lifts? WOO HOO!

W series Toyota trans adaptors
I REALLY want to see what comes of this. It sounds like a perfect solution for my 2000 Outback project...

WCCS 12 Site and Location are Set
I don't know a darn thing about trad climbing. I love sport climbing, but BOULDERING is the shiznit. I'm still new to sport climbing (been bouldering for a few years), but I'd really like to check out the routes at L-worth. Bouldering is my favorite, though. Let's bring our pads.

Oooh...never been up there. All us climbers should get together and figure it out... Any other climbers out there?

cold air intake
thatswhatshesaid replied to NSubO's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXWill it decrease your fuel economy? Yes. Will it decrease your power? Yes. Will it suck in hot air from your engine bay, rather than cold, dense air from the atmosphere? Yes But...will it sound wicked awesome? HELL YES. (still not worth it, though. ha ha. Build a hybrid setup like the one mentioned in the NASIOC post)

Let's get some climbing in at Leavenworth while we're there! This will be the closest WCSS to me thusfar!

Delta Cam roll call
What cam setup would you recommend using in a EJ22T block/EJ25 (phase II) head HYBRID motor? Is there a regrind? (nothing wild - maybe 200-220 WHP)

Project junkyard monster! EJ22T block/EJ25 SOHC heads - advice?
Wow. I didn't know he worked at Delta... And I want boost. I've got the urge to get some form of forced induction...

Project junkyard monster! EJ22T block/EJ25 SOHC heads - advice?
Okay. I get the point. I trust you guys that have been around the block. How about this...in my current position (toasted heads on my 190k 2.5 block)... - What's the most RELIABLE way to push, say...250 HP at the wheels? - What's the CHEAPEST way to get to 250 wheel HP?

Project junkyard monster! EJ22T block/EJ25 SOHC heads - advice?
This idea sounds great, BUT...merging the harnesses would be a bear. The wiring and intake for the 2.5 is already in the car...so I'm going to go that route.

Project junkyard monster! EJ22T block/EJ25 SOHC heads - advice?
That's another issue I'd like to address: Engine management? what should I do?

Project junkyard monster! EJ22T block/EJ25 SOHC heads - advice?
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. I'm a bit of a NOOB, so...ANYTHING. Even if it might not pertain to the specific things I originally asked.

Project junkyard monster! EJ22T block/EJ25 SOHC heads - advice?
So, my 2000 EJ25 is toasted. I'll be picking up an EJ22T soon. I want to slap some heads/intake that are correct for my car (so I can keep the stock wiring) on the 22T block and throw a little boost at it. I think I'm going to run the stock internals for the first iteration of this motor. (maybe STi rods) I want to build it for a reasonable amount of $$$. Issues: - This combo (with the 2.2 HG) will yield approximately 7.8:1 compression... *I've never driven a small-displacement car with this kind of CR...is this going to be a real dog until I get into boost? I've driven EJ22T-equipped cars (8:1 CR) and I'm unimpressed with the lack of balls at low RPM. - Are there other pistons I could use to bump up the CR? - What about getting the heads decked? (too spendy, probably) - I can probably run a bit more boost since the CR is so low, right? Any advice here? I've seen a bunch of builds with DOHC heads, but...SOHC seems to be far less popular. Thanks, guys... - Tyler

02' Legacy GT wagon- cold morning rough idle, misfire
thatswhatshesaid replied to 740gle's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXThat is weird. You might be dealing with multiple issues here...(although that's usually not the answer - the simplest solution is usually the correct one) My money is on VALVES. Vacuum issues confirm this. how much fuel is pissing out there?

'98 Legacy Outback Cold Air Intake
Get some sort of intake that pulls air from the fenderwell. Louder/more power/real cold air.
