If you take care of this motor, I think it has quite a bit of life left. All the people saying "3xx,xxx and still going strong" are right. It's a great motor. I've seen a couple with 400k+ miles.

I'm building a fiberglass enclosure into the spare tire cavity in the back of my wagon (mine's a 2000 - I'm sure it's about the same size) to keep it super stealth (and protected from climbing/skiing/biking gear). Is that what you're thinking about doing? There's really a lot of cubic footage in there... I'm trying to figure a way to throw an amp in each storage compartment on the sides, but keeping them cool might be pretty tough...

Definitely. A couple days of seat time in my OWN car, learning how to drive, PLUS come classroom time..it sounds awesome. The Dirtfish thing would just be fun for some giggles.

That's a pretty cool rig. Some people will chastise such behavior, calling it disrespectful to the Subaru name or some babble like that, but...I think it's pretty cool - mostly because it's a pretty unique idea for a drag car. Party on, dudes.

...and we think a 140 chp EJ22 makes these cars hot rods...
