  1. So I've been in contact with Phil, the guy I bought the car from! He is pretty surprised how far I've taken this car (Dude probably thought he'd never hear about this car ever again after I bought it, let alone see it getting restored) Phil has the original Key box and jack which he is gonna drop off sometime, The key box is really cool! MilesFox has one he found at a junkyard years ago. Phil also said he has another key for the car, maybe its a factory Subaru key and not an SR5!
  2. Yeah, The carb system has a max pressure of 3psi. It goes down to 1psi at idle so much book says.
  3. Are you talking about the union? That just joins both lines together. The line is 3/16" with a 45* seat. The fittings are 3/16"x10mm.
  4. This is going to be a good one! Moar!!
  5. Lookie what I have!
  6. Perhaps it does, Maybe I didn't take a close enough look at it. Reverse Light.
  7. That seriously made me laugh...! Very funny.
  8. Double flared the brake lines which will be leading out of the chassis. I have to make a length which will run down to the trailing arm, then connect to the soft line which runs to the Caliper. This is a High-quality double flaring tool from Eastwood Tools, which I am borrowing from Jboy.
  9. BRZs indeed have Framed windows, as all new Subarus boo! I've seen a BRZ in person at the Subaru Show, and I'm not real impressed with the interior, its kinda blah. Not hating on it, but I kinda expected more! XT6 and SVX have nicer interiors and they're 20+ yrs old. I don't think I would want a RWD Subaru :-p
  10. Any word on this thing?
  11. Well, I'd like to make something like this, only in a single port style. I have never seen anyone run an UEL header on an EA motor.
  12. Ah, I did not see that. Good work on the swap! Is there any power difference between the first and second gen T8D?
  13. Thanks for the link, that helps! Yeah I have a napa down the road actually, cool.
  14. WHAT! Ahaha, that is a cool table. What is going to go in place of the old T8D?
  15. Thank you for the comment my friend! Does anyone know where I can buy mandrel bent 90s in a 1-7/8" for my header build? Looks like the parts store only has the ribbed kind.
  16. Thank you so much! That will change once I make a UEL Header which will wrap in front of the oil pan
  17. PCV port works perfect! Has a light suction. Alt with spacer and Stainless Hardware. Dunno if I have this stuff hooked up right? Two are capped off, the 1/4" line on top is running right to a port on the intake, and then on of the tubes connects to the vent line from the tank. Tank hasn't exploded yet, so it must be working? Not bad for $15 a pair. I want to put HIDs for the low beams, and 100w Halogen High-beams!
  18. Weberized!
  19. And it roars to life! I got the Alt all figured out and shiz. Runs pretty good so far.
  20. Thats interesting. Subarus not very consistent eh? :-p
  21. No cuts I could see, unless you welded it and ground it down before you blasted it. Maybe this is a defective block Why not, it would add to the quirkiness of this thing, Headlights are even weird. To many Factory add-ons were done to this car, maybe thats why its phucked up :-p
  22. Perhaps I should be another face in the crowd and EJ it! Install a built EJ257! and 5spd or JDM 6spd gear box! :-p
  23. No worries Tom, I will double check the Pulleys tomorrow, and if they all do line up, I will get a longer M8 bolt and use this round spacer I have. That would work fine probably. Hmm, I wonder if the 1985+ Solid lifter motors have a different casting? EA81 is a new animal to me. I'm used to EA82s and EJs.
  24. I still have all the A/C stuff (Except condenser) which is going to Tom. I personally can't stand A/C in cars. It just adds so much clutter. I would takr the Power steering out of the EA81 as well if I had a manual rack.
