  1. There is also a fuse or relay on that bracket, I forget which it is. I dunno if it is also for the HVAC system or not.
  2. Indeed. I think I have the 3 vehicles I will have for the rest of my life lol!
  3. So, some more goodness today. I remove the rear diff and axles, I basically took the CVJs apart since the cups won't budge from the stubs. The boots are still nice, but need new clamps. I am also repacking the axle cups with Kendall Blu-Ball grease. 3.900 Diff Axle Balls and Race. Replacing the wheel bearing will be much easier now, since the axle is removed. High-Solids based Enamel (Real thick) More floor work. I then removed the diff cover for inspection. Oil was clean as were the internal gears. Oil looked like honey! Clean. Going to repaint the Diff cover.
  4. That is for your Heater controls. I commend you for having a nice clean engine bay! Welcome to the club of the few
  5. The only D/R Auto that U know of, was offered in the Subaru Bighorn (Isuzu Trooper) So I am really wondering about this trans. I also want to say some of the South American Legacys had a D/R 4EAT.
  6. I will take that Cable! Does it come with handle? I will also take your good hood latch assy and I would be interested in that core support once I get to that point. PM me if you'd like.
  7. Is that some type of Duel Range Automatic? WTF..
  8. Damn, 14" Jackmans. Nice.
  9. Geez! What else are you stashing in your garage Tom? Perhaps Pugs? :-p
  10. Oh ho! So you are stashing all the EA81 partsoroma eh?
  11. For further reference Rockauto lists two clutch kits, one for 4WD and one for 2WD. The clutch disc I need for a 4WD measures Disc Spec: 8-7/8" OD X 7/8" ID X 21T Correct? 2WD apps uses an 1" smaller disc? Disc Spec: 7-7/8" OD X 7/8" ID X 21T
  12. Restoring my Skid plate, I used Aircraft stripper and some extremely high Acid desolver I took from work. Turned out pretty good, next up will be prep and paint for it.
  13. I agree with the 15" swap, they fit the stance just as good if not better.
  14. EFI is better in my opinion then Carb, no worries on elevation, no worries on cold starts and more power, plus the SPFI system of the 1987-94 EA82 is pretty reliable (I've never had an issue) I am just now getting into Carbs with the EA81, gonna see which I prefer more.
  15. Helpful link thanks to McBrat. http://www.indysworld.com/80s/general/wheels/wheels.html The center hole looks to be possible 2" in diameter?
  16. WOW, this is gonna look cool!
  17. I remember something similar like this when on in the Subaru Alliance, Xbeerd wanted an XT6 dash in his Loyale, after going over it and going over it, he decided that getting the unique heater controls to work and that the dash curve was different, that it was time to move on. Also, an XT6 steering wheel will NOT fit on an EA82 steering shaft. XT6 may be based on the EA82 chassis, but there are a lot of changes (Kinda like Chaz Bono, bases on a Girl, but has a lot of changes) As for the Brat, I'm looking forward to seeing an EA82 Gauge cluster in there!
  18. They offered Jackmans in 14" as well... Perhaps something like this would work. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-3-4-APPLIANCE-HONEYCOMB-WESTERN-WHEEL-MUSTANG-SALEEN-CENTER-CAPS-70mm-/270912860049?hash=item3f13aa2f91&item=270912860049&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr#ht_500wt_977
  19. The front valance/rad support is rotted and crumbling. The skid plate bolts to that (Like an EA82) The crashbar bolts to the underside of the bumper, it doesn't offer any support to the Valance. Just testing the waters, figured I should see if I can make some money back on this car. Perhaps just strip it, sell off the goods and junk the shell.
  20. Found another Ski picture.
  21. Is the chrome crash bar in from of the EA81 worth anything? The chrome part looks nice as I polished it, the black part could use a repaint. Was gauging selling it.
  22. That is interesting, a Trophy truck Brat HA! Hope it has Long travel shocks...
