I have the same noises your talking about on my taurus. Took it to the suspension shop and they said bearing plate on strut is bad. So there you go. Buy 2 new quickstrut assemblys and be done with it.

Ok update. Took it to a professional exhause shop where they fixed the problem buy turning the flanges and rewelding and bolted them back to the engine. Also fixed the rusted out resoner. Car is too quiet now but the problem is fixed. Thank you all for your help.

Just as long as its not this weekend its koo. Though quiet my car is good to go as is. Any word on what route were takeing.

Terrys Auto in Clive did such a good job fixing my rusted out pipe and broken exhaust studs that they made it quiet. So dam quiet that i no longer scare little children on the side of the road. NO longer will little old ladys quiver in fear next to me at a stoplight. I will no longer have the rally style wow factor as i blast buy people in traffic. It so quiet i can hear all the other problems the engine and the wheel bearing are having. Its a sad sad day.

Mine is doing that exact same leak. But they say just go ahead and replace the pump while your in there.

Can i make this suggestion. 1st off opinions are like A Holes. 2nd i dont think a blue interior would look good with your red car. I just personally think the colors contrast. Having a blue interior myself i find it hard to find replacement parts because most seem to have the gray one. If i were in your shoes i would be just replacing whatever you need to replace only in gray. You would be amazed on how much time it takes to convert the whole thing over from another color. I know because i had a complete parts car and pondered it alot. Let us know what you did.

After driveing my subaru for 3 years every day and then getting this other car. For a daily commuter you cant beat the (plush) factor of a more high end car. Now again dont get me wrong i love my subaru. But your talking about an ea81 which was even rougher then the EA82s. I know opinions are like a** holes but i wouldnt give up your yukon. You never know when you might need it. I duno i like a nice comfy ride to work and since your going that far, i would think you would want as comfy of a ride as possible. But then again ive had bad exhaust rattling through my ears for the better part of a year. Let me fix it then get back to ya. If i were you since your doin this i would get new shocks and struts and bushings. Might ride like a brand new car then.
