  1. Look up a guy named suberdave. His websight will give you a good idea.
  2. Your gonna think that acura is wimpy when you put a wrx sti motor in your wagon. And yes it has been done.
  3. Is there reason people have the snorkle go all the way to the top of the roofline. I would think if you had that much water around you, you would be floating down the river and have bigger problems.
  4. The way my motor was setup i just unbolted the throttlebody so i could access the IAC screws easier. Then when i removed it i cleaned up real good with Brake Cleaner. It did imprive things quite abit but not all. Someone had also mentioned the coolant temp sensor might of been coroded and check that as well.
  5. Update......... Ive used this thing more times then i can count now. Wonder why i never picked one up before. I still havent mastered all of the functions but now that weather is getting nicer so ill be messin with it more.
  6. I know that some weld the new studs in to make sure they are seated properly. Do you do this or can you seat them properly yourself.
  7. Its 20 to ship the hubs to us then 20 on us to ship the old hubs back to you.
  8. I dont think theres any sign of a leak because it still holds tons of pressure. If it does leak i will rip the entire thing out of the car. I havent had air since i bought it so its no big deal to me to be rid of it. Oh i need to pick up a belt for it also. Ben
  9. Did you have issues witht he hood hitting the top of the battery. I was thinking of putting the battery in a cheep trailer box for alittle added water - mud protection. Dont you have a picture of your setup somewhere.
  10. In the back with the lama:grin:
  11. The whole purpose was to move it into a higher and further back position in the engine bay then right up front. And to also use up the dead space the spare tire used to be. I agree that the stock location is best due to how its craddled in the engine. But just trying to think up of different custom configurations.
  12. This is more for the old pinstripes that are seemingly perminately affixed to the suby. Would wd40 work in this situation. Thats real cheep and easy.
  13. I dont think the product you are talking about exists in the usa. A google search resulted in nada.
  14. You have a garage full of everything yet you know where nothing is. Except 6 pug lugs and a cvshaft tool.
  15. Im seeing lots of great ideas on here.
  16. Pretty sure with alittle Hayse reading i can unbolt it and moveit out of the way. I just like things simple and out of the way. If theres no saveing this system then its out but for the idea of having AC is to sweet not to try.
  17. See mick, who needs options when you can have something rare.
  18. I did alittle searching and couldnt find my answer. Thinking about relocating the battery but dont know how great the advantages would be. Since the batterys up front and most water situations end up going nose first i thought maybe relocate the battery to where the spare tire used to be. But im not sure if......... a. its to tall b. no real advantage
  19. I had thought of that also, but if they want me to pay them to decharge my system then im leaving it on.
  20. Heres my delima. Im needing to replace my valve cover gaskets at some point and the stupid A/C condenser is in the way. Now this isnt my daily driver anymore and the A/C doesnt work anyways. Though the A/C doesnt blow cold the system is still pressurized so it might just need recharged with r12 which i have:grin: Now it could also get thrown back into daily use again this summer which if i had working A/c it woudl be awsome plus the fact that if the condensor is hooked up buy a belt it might help with my defrosting problems in the winter. I wouldnt have a problem removing the AC if the system was bad but because it still holds pressure it makes me believe the system is salavagable. So here are the questions. Even thought the AC might still work would it be more in my favor to just remove it since its mainly going to be a wheeler wagon or winter car. If i decide to remove the AC since it is still pressurized what dangers might i encounter trying to remove the hoses. If i do remove it would anyone like to buy it. Or should i just leave it on and try to see if it will recharge. And then cut up my hands changeing the valve cover gasket. Heres the system
  21. Any of this stuff work on old factory pinstripes. I cant get mine off with heat and razerblades.
  22. Im not sure if the villagers need to gather and stop Dr Frankenstein from creating his monster.
  23. I have the quad setup and i like the silverstars. Ive heard GE makes a great one called the nighthawk which is suspost to be brighter thent he silverstars. There harder to come buy though.
  24. I have been mentioning it kinda jokenly in threads because someone was going to fab one up for me but hes been busy lately so he hasent had time. As far as i know he has half of it done so i wouldnt want to stick him with half a lift. Thanks for the offer though.
