  1. Do you currently have a auto or manual. That will answer alot of questions.
  2. Woa Woa Woa, now i didnt say that. Subarus buy themselves are very capable in stock form. But youve got to do alot of custom work to get them to be at stock cherokee. But as far as them being capable offroad. Just Watch.
  3. Just did alittle checking with a few sights. Tires plus is showing a firestone fr360 for size 185-80-13 and TireRack is showing Kumhos for that size as well. The only other thing you can do is get pug wheels with allows you to get 14 or 15inch tires. OR redrill some 6lug wheels but they dont always look good for street use.
  4. Honestly the only place ive seen tires this size are at walmart. Just dont get the douglas tires. Spring alittle more for the goodyears.
  5. If your just swaping engines, you get an adaptor plate and keep your original transmission (single range) from your dl car. If your swaping engine and tranny then it gets a bit more complicated. I believe you half to change front axels to match the ones in your new tranny. I think your asking if you can switch in a awd tranny but still keep your single range transfer case. If thats what your asking then we have a problem. The 4wd unit in these cars is 1 piece. You either have single range, or dual range, awd or just 2wd. If the tranny is still good in your wagon i would just get the adaptor plate and call it good. Though if you had alittle xtra bucks i would get the dual range setup. Superior with the low range option.
  6. Funny i have the same sound, comes from the driverside. Interested to know where this is going.
  7. Im in, oh wait. Well in spirt
  8. All ive got to give is a ps3 brent. So unless your up for a trade.
  9. He sent me the pictures, you guys were right. It was the one with the blue wheels, and beat up front and rear. No way im not that despirate.
  10. Uhh guys i dont want to pee in anyones pool. It has more clerance and a solid front axel. And you can put on 31inch tires right from the getgo. If it has a 5 speed its perfect. The aftermarket is huge on those. Inline 6 was one of the best engines ever made. If i was looking for a cheep wheeler thats where i would go. I love my suby, but the benefits of wheeling a stock jeep cherokee vs a stock subaru are kinda not even close. IM just saying, but if i didnt love my subaru i wouldnt still own it.
  11. I dont have alot of money but i did pick up a 80gig ps3 about 6 months back. Now first of i love this thing, the graphics are awsome but i hardly play it. I mean like 1 or 2 times a month. I ended up emailing that guy about his GL with his run on sentence. Anyways he said he would trade straight up. Now im waiting to see pictures of this vehicle but i was curious of anyone thought this was either a good or bad idea. It would be nice to have a 2nd car. And its the GL with 5 speed dual range. The price of playstations is down to 300 bucks so basically its a fair trade. http://desmoines.craigslist.org/cto/1409878723.html
  12. Lol it has been covered alot. Try to type in 5 lug, or xt6 swap. Those usually come up with something. Good Luck.
  13. Are you sure, did you put a ej22 turbo in your wagon. Cuz if im not mistaken, thats the only way your stock clutch isnt gonna hold up.
  14. I slept in the back of mine man, im sure you werent trying hard enough. Did you fold the back seat down. Theres always the hood.
  15. Mines an 88 fi. And its right where it should be.
  16. Since i orderded it, how about now. Does it atleast look like i have everything.
  17. Bump, did we ever fully decide on anything.
  18. Honestly if you just wanted to keep it simple and more reliable you would just include the tranny with your new engine. Ej22 is an awsome engine and the auto tranny is way better. Problem is i dont think your axels will bolt up to the new tranny so you would need the axels as well. Looks like youve got quite a project on your hands.
  19. Wow im just seeing this thread. Maybe thats why i try to hard to get this pig out of its way. Though i dont have a tach to read my revs buy i will kick it up a notch and see how it drives then.
  20. I know man but you must understand, some people can hardly afford to live right now.
  21. Yea never had a problem like this before on brakes. My brother had a problem but he was in town. We ended up having to change out a caliper because his brakes and rotors were litlerly gone and it overextended and blue.
  22. Ok found a wheel bearing on rock auto for 25 bucks. Want to make sure i got the right bearing and seals Brake/Wheel Hub : Wheel Bearing BCA/NATIONAL Part # 513056 {Taper Bearing Assembly / Bore=1.2598" Outer Diameter=2.2835" Width=2.5591" [Wholesaler Closeout -- 30 Day Warranty]} Taper Bearing Assembly; Rear Wheel; Inner B $25.79 $0.00 $25.79 Brake/Wheel Hub : Wheel Seal BCA/NATIONAL Part # 225005 {Oil Seal / Nitrile / Shaft Size=1.969" Housing Bore=2.441" Outer Diameter=2.452" Width=0.276"} Rear Wheel; Outer A $5.90 $0.00 $5.90 BCA/NATIONAL Part # 224015 {Oil Seal / Nitrile / Shaft Size=1.575" Housing Bore=2.047" Outer Diameter=2.058" Width=0.276"} Rear Wheel; Inner Just let me know if im ready to rock and roll.
  23. Did anyone think of what i said. Remove the caliper from the disc and have it hang on the suspension with a ziptie until you can get to someone who can help you.
