  1. Make sure and use NGK plugs and wires. Beck-Arnley cap and rotor will work.
  2. What did you use for that. Heres the beginning of mine. I need to configure up a basket.
  3. I think it was 88-90. And help me out but wasnt those the only few years where you could get fuel injection and the dual range was still offered. 85-87 you could only get carbed for the most part. And 91-94 you couldnt get dual range. Just curious.
  4. I was thinking yearround. There cheaper then dirt on tirerack. Also new to tirerack they have the BFGoodrich TA All terrains for sale in 14inch now. I havent seen them on there before.
  5. Just curious if anyone runs these year round or offroaded in them. The tred pattern isnt to agressive but they seem to be fairly knobby. I didnt if snow tires like these had softer compound so they wouldnt be good for offroad or every year use. Ben
  6. Yea ive been useing a light lube. It was fine last year during this time. I have cleaned out the IAC and the Throttle Body thourghly with Throttle Body cleaner this spring.
  7. Ok so it still froze up. Yesterday i tried to spray alittle lube on the butterfly shaft in the throttle body and it still hangs up. Its not the cable, its the rod that goes through the throttle body. Any ideas. Agian this is baffleing ot me, i dont think its getting hung up because if it was it would do it all the time wouldnt. Ive got it kinda figured out where i press the peddle and start it up. It idles high for about 7 minutes before it warms up enough to go to normal idle. Im about to ask my parts lady for a new upper throttle body and go that route.
  8. Oh and buy the way tank. Stick around because we can get you hooked up with a lift and some tires for that rig of yours. Would hang in there even better with your jeep buddies. If i may borrow a couple pictures.
  9. Well if your wanting to donate that useless car you can send it my way. I dont know about other subarus but ive never known a sence of stability on the snow as ive know these past few days. I drive 35mph with ease. Hardly any wheel spin and perfectly planted on the road. Dont know if i can ever go back. Even in big suvs ive rode in they never felt like that.
  10. mine does the same thing. Looking forward to hearing an answer.
  11. Anyone know how i can tell which size i have other then measureing it. ben
  12. Heres another question. How do you guys flush the heatercore with those hoses being so short, and not causeing a huge mess.
  13. I thought i just timetraveled, didnt your brat look like that last year. In other news i think you need to give me that roof basket on your new car there. Would look much better up there. That or paint it black my friend.
  14. What about good flow through the radiator. I noticed most of the bottom of mine has tons of fins missing. As far as flow, it has a new 192 or so T-stat in it. The temp gauge gets to half on the idiot gauge. And yea there is a ton of snow inside the car now so i will half to dry that out.
  15. Unfortunately i dont live in a house i live in an apartment. Unless my father in law lets me flush it in his shop (doubtfull) then it wont get done this winter. Anyone know what size belt to use with this ac alternator setup. Pretty sure this is the dealer installed A/C not the factory. And its a california car, if that makes any difference. Ben
  16. Yep FI here, ill check it out this weekend.
  17. I believe we ended up getting 15 inches or so. Which is pretty good considering we dont get snowstorms like that around here. They finally started off clearing up the parking lot good around here. I had to help a lady get her minivan unstuck lastnight. I wish i had a towrope i would of just drug her out. Thinking towroap and snow shovel are the next purchases. Sure ill dig ya out for 10 bucks. Anyways looks like the throttle is still stickin so i think im headed over to my fatherinlaws shop this weekend to try and figure that out.
  18. What type of bulb goes in there.
  19. Connie, your a smart girl so i warn you. I had an izuzu once. They have headgasket problems and they have horrid frame rot problems. Look the frame over really good before you do anything.
  20. No sorry i didnt clarify. I have heat coming out of the floorboards, the windshield, the vents. Its just not burn my butt hott. I had the inside of my windows ice up on me tonight. Nothing i could do could heat up the inside of the car. I really wish i would of flushed the heatercore this summer. That and i could use a new radiator, probally water pump also. But i digress.
  21. Hey mick, in all seriousness whats going on with the old girl. Seems to of been nothin but trouble since castina.
  22. Honestly i can think of a better porsche to buy the a 944. I personally like the 928s myself but i understand those have a bit of problems as well. Honestly i like porsche but i think its mainly a name thing. There are cars you can get more for your money. Again i say i do really like porsche but a cheep used one i dont know if it would be worth it.
  23. Thats awsome mick you should fire that baby up and go for a cruise, see how she does in the snow. Oh..... wait....... ooooooooooooo to soon.
  24. And as far as i know, the ac isnt charged for cold but it has pressure. All it needs is a belt. But now 2 days with no work i cant afford chit.
