  2. through out my 5 subarus and 3 2000watt+ stereo systems i know the symptoms of a bad regulator and yea if your over 14.7 or so your heating things up. my volt meter in the cluster would jump all they way up then level out randomly at first. i waited for money to come in to buy an upgrade then the vm needle would rise and fall with the rpms. my stereo 'deck' harness would get HOT and things would cut out like lights and speaker sound

  12. OH and im looking for an engine to BUILD if anyone wants to talk about it maybe get a ball rolling. All I want is credit (my name out there) Id like to "polish a turd" and build an EA82 for performance.. I do have a "merchant discount" from parts stores so I pay half as much as everyone else... i will do any other engine as well but id like to make a bad rump roast ea82 Unless I get one first
  13. wow im sorry for the no reply guys usmb just sent me an email that I had a reply to my post. anyways heres the recent downlow and responses to everyones posts I run a business here. its been okay. Lately i havent been motivated which lead to me talking to an active duty recruiter today.. i havent signed anything yet.. My 'friends' are the tan go to the gym drive big trucks kinda friends and it gets old listening to "i have a $30,000 truck what do you got"... Anyways no friends plus hard work 24/7 with mediocre pay check just doesn't cut it. I would love some company here at the shop im usually here 24 hours a day... 'tallwelder81 im not too much of a go and and meet people kinda guy but its funny that my wifes name is sarah and shes brunette 5'8" ' I'm not too keen on the area. I'm more passive. I lived in Black Diamond for a few years so I know how to get around but nothing of the history. I moved up here from Shelton but before that I lived in iraq haha my one tour.. you can email, text or call me or just stop by kodylei@ymail.com 360 918 2404 I totally understand the truck deal. Theres quite a few big truck guys in enumclaw that will tell you stories about how a little lifed silver subaru wagon pulled them out of the woods And the lift is open right now im working in the center on a 92 yota so yea all clear no problem codehead - anyone is welcome here If I can get some kind of friend base built up ill stick around. My two options (that I like) I could choose for the army are 91A Abrams tank mechanic or 11x Id like to stay though
  14. valve chatter... is usually out of adjustment valves or super thin oil the booster could have thrown an o2 sensor code. id clean up the sensors Maf, o2, clean ur fuel injectors..

  18. the next time the matco guy comes around (tuesday) ill be picking up a variable speed buffer for detailing. im using a cutoff tool and a micro cloth, its a bit fast for paint and tends to fray the cloth fast. i watch a few youtube videos of glass repair with an angle grinder and 3 different scratch pads..
  19. No i have not. The 3M compound spreads fast and easy and does such a good job i haven't had reason to look elsewhere have you used a clay bar?
  20. I noticed one day... I was trying to buff out a scratch from sand under the wiper blade on my wifes windshield. It wasnt working so well so i gave it a rest the next morning it was raining when we went to the store there was a NICE new looking strip where i had buffed the glass. the water beads up real nice and its crystal clear. Reason why im posting is because I didnt notice the windshield was so bad its an 03 jetta.. ill post pics but i used the same tools as i did on this CLICK THIS Put short it clears up you glass like new
