Heater core?
Okay I just went and looked and I got the black cover off no prob, and I can see the levers etc. but I can't see where it is leaking from! There was a small drop of coolant on the bottom of the duct that is right there. So I can't see up in there to see where it would be coming from! There isn't a lot of coolant leaking out but it's never done it before.

Heater core?
Ok so where is it located, how do I get to it and how do I replace it??? And yes coolant tastes wonderful!

Heater core?
So I was just in my Brat and I noticed green liquid (coolant) running down onto the floor on the drivers side. I assume this is the heater core? Could it be anything else? And if it is the heater core, how do I go about fixing/replacing it? Thank you! Oh yeah and it seemed to be skipping/running rough at the same time.

brat wont start.engine electrical gurus please reply
Try jumping it! Sometimes there is enough voltage to run electronics in the vehicle but not enough to turn the motor over. So I would start there especially since you said it was cols out!

I see this in the mods section but the pics are gone. Is there anyone who might have pics of this inside and out? The original thread was made by s' ko. Thanks!

Swampers
Yeah I have thought of it but I do way too much offroading where my car gets tipped up on its side or other and all the carbed subys I've used have started to stall out. And the OBDII system works excellent! So that would be my preference. And with a carbed EJ I'd have to search for a distributor to work etc. But I probably won't even do it until I get another car. I want to get one with little or no rust, we don't have those out here! If I find a good shell than I will go all out on it!

Swampers
Yeah thats what I'm talkin about is off road! It goes ok but only if you keep the revs high. But if you are climbing a steep rocky incline and it just runs out of power! I wanna do the EJ swap but don't have all the parts and I'm scared of all the wires!

Swampers
yeah but I'm pretty sure that its the stock tranny! You'd think that the WRX motor would be rough on that! But yeah very cool looking! And I bet it does have plenty of power even with 29's!

EA81 rear LSD, just to get this straight
I'm pretty sure that because it was in the playground it is gone! That was just a temporary place to use while they straightened things out.

Let's see that action shot
Not my car but some I know. It's an '80 wagon with full Loyale suspension and drivetrain, including motor. Customized factory pushbar, rear disc's, 14" Peugeot wheels, rocker panel protection, etc. And a pic of his Brat with again the same stuff as stated above.

EA81 rear LSD, just to get this straight
Like I said in the playground I used for a short time a VLSD out of a 91 legacy turbo 5 spd. It was a direct bolt in. Or you could build an LSD which is explained how to do in the offroad mod section of this forum. Hope this helps

Widening the spare?
No I don't think they are any stronger than the 15" as far as the thickness of the metal, but they worked excellent for me. I had 205/70/14 onthem so not huge but they worked. Another friend of mine was running the 15" spares and he was running the old factory tires of an Outback. I think they are like 205/70/15? they are pretty tall. But again they worked great for me and a few of my friends and we tested the crap out of them! But they are spare tire rims and I know that's not what they were meant for.

Just thinkin"
Thanks Brian, I just went and did a search and yeah no real progress made! So I guess to do this it would entail a fair amount of work! So my qiestion now is what alternatives do I have? I would really like to correct the camber issue I have. Any ideas or anything that anyone has done to do this? Thanks again!

Just thinkin"
Right I figured it would camber the tire the other way. But right now on my brat I have a home made lift and adjustable EA82 struts, springs, and tops and my tires lean out at the top a little more than I would like them to. So I was thinking that this would correct it. But I want to know if It's a bolt on mod or if there are problems that would need to addressed to make it work.
