So what do you have to do, if the hole is already there. Did you make the cut in the thing now bolted to the trannie. And what is holding it together in the first place? -

While lookling around the board in prep for de emisioning my brat, GD told us that it was good to blow thru the line to know exactly where they go (its a maze in there). When I blew thru the hardline where the vac advance on the dizzy connects petrol came out too. This hardline is controled by vacuum valve and is also conected to the charcoal canister. And gets its vac source from ported vac off the carbi. 1. Could this happen when the carbi floods or something? 2. Or is it caused by a bad valve charcoal canister? Cheers

I am now running the blinker line from the bumber into the parker lights. This is cause the old bumber was beyond repair and the spare one does not have blinkers. Could they be blinking fast because the parker light line do not have bulbs in them?
-
My indicator has been blinking faster than usual after I had my crash. Now I have got all of the indicaters going (all six) and its still blinking fast. I thought it blinked fast when you had a blown bulb but all six are blinking (4 front, 2 rear) now and its still quick. Cheer

You mean an allen key?

Oi General I blew thru the hardline like u said in previous post and it was full of petrol so i duno whats doing on there.Yer and i definately know ive got the right port on the carbi, ur method simple but effective.

Hmm I think Ill go with the ported vac on the carb, and thanks allot for your replies, I sort of understand it now. Tomorow I shuold start ripping all those vac lines out of my engine bay:brow: B.T.W. I did not think there would be so many replies

Which kind of port is the distr. usually plugged into 1. or 2.? What exactly is vacuum advance, does it make it spin faster when vac`ed? or does create less friction cause no air? (I know the second one aint even close but you really go into that in your last post)
