I dont know the power levels of the EJ20T But a Frankenmotor Brat that was built by GD and Renob123 was VERY carefully driven in FWD on the streets and in 4WD on the track... GD once told me they were going to be doing the AWD swap because the EJ transmission could handle the power (it was driven lightly because if you clutch dumped the FM on the D/R tranny, youd rip every gear apart) and AWD would be very wise in the rain/snow because it currently wasnt the safest vehicle to be in the rain with (this was back in October/November when it was raining more, but who am I kidding, its July and still raining) Frankenmotor I believe is around 180hp... I know the D/R can handle the EJ22 because its only 135hp... but I think youd be pushing it with a WRX motor... I could be way off on my numbers... but I think Im pretty close.

Nope. Its just an app that I put on it and when I activated the app on my new phone it showed up as being like 9 feet from me and I found out it works... So might as well put it in my car so that my car doesnt disappear. Although he has gained Garage rights though because Ive seen some jimmy marks near the gas tank, and that crap is too expensive to be letting people have. Still havent seen that plate... Ive had my eyes out, will call you on the spot if I see it (and follow it as well)

I found out a couple weeks ago, that although I didnt know it... Ned is a very popular Subaru... I saw that my video was on another forum, and thought, "thats odd, I didnt do that" so I clicked on it, and sure enough, he was on another forum... So I became a member and made the East coast jealous of my rust free Ned, but when I asked the guy where he looked it up, he said it was actually a chain of forums. He got it from an XT6 forum where someone had said they pulled it from another forum (he couldnt recall which) So I decided, well now I might as well put him on my home forum (at least where I consider home to be ) Skip to ":20" to not have to listen to my god awful voice, stupid video cameras...

I would have just taken pursuit to be honest... Waited til he/they got out of the car, tackled them to the ground, citizens arrest style and THEN called the police to come get the scumbag who stole the car I have had this same experience with a buddies old car. It was stolen, we called it in and they came and talked to us, then a day later it was parked at his neighbors house and we called the police (because lawfully, its better to let the police handle it than taking own action) and dispatch asked us to get the VIN, License plate, and complete description of the car... when it matched (like it would because it was his car) the report, she said she would send the next available officer out... 4... FOUR... hours later, a cop pulls up, no lights, no siren to tell us that a vehicle matching the description was reported about an hour before in a hit and run and hasnt been tracked down yet, but to please call them again if we see it... I respect our men/women of law enforcement, I just dont agree with them most of the time.

Tex said that you had to make a bracket for the seat belt bolt, but that the seats (XT6) are pretty much bolted in securely with the 3 bolts that do match up. Im in no hurry, I like my seats, but someday... I just wanted to know just in case a decent set came along, or a parts car that the owner was getting rid of parts for..

Sweet, now I gotta find a close enough match to XT seats... I heard that they pretty much bolt in for the front, so if I find nice XT seats and nice GL-10 rear seats, Ill be in business Did XT seats just come in gray? I wouldnt mind going back to the blue interior that Ned once had but all I see is gray, gray and more gray. Thanks!

This may be a dumb question... But I thought about it... How can you get the rear seats in a sedan to fold down? If they dont fold down as stock seats, is there another model/year that will fit in that can fold down? I miss the fold down seats from my 92 Loyale s/w, but as most people know from talking to me, I have no intention of getting rid of my car... I will take him to the grave

Renob123 and GD put a JDM 5 Speed in the Frankenmotor brat and made it AWD for that exact reason... Id get in touch with one of them

In 1990, they became a Loyale... Like my 1986 GL is basically a Loyale Sedan. But after 1994, I dont believe the DL,GL,GL-10 line continued. You have the L, LS, LSi, Brighton etc in the Legacy and such, but for the vehicles LIKE the DL, GL, GL-10 line, those ended in 1994 (didnt continue in 1995 is what I mean)

I spoke to the guy and he said it was very regularly maintained and never abused... So Im assuming that since he said 400k miles and didnt mention a rebuild or anything, it would be original equipment... --Again Spencer, congrats on this car, I hope to see it looking clean and for sale soon... might have a few people interested already, but we will see what happens.

My dad put over 400k on an 85 DL in just a few years. Was his DD plus he was a courier... Sometimes traveling 400+ miles in a day for work. Hard miles too, stop and go sometimes, plus he shifted hard... That car was why I got into Subarus... He gave it to me and I ran it up to 456k before selling it because he found a 4WD Loyale and I wanted that more.

I talked to that guy and he said it had 400k... I didnt know he meant 471k.. Holy crap...

Looks clean Spencer! I dont know too much about these trucks... My buddy Nick does though... I know to stay away from the 3.0V6 (AKA the 3.slOw) because its gutless and has headgasket issues.
