  1. Bradd had a good source for those...can't remember the name, check with him.
  2. Thanks for the pics. That's a nice looking setup. Is that originally off a 1600? What air cleaner set up do you use? How does it run? Can you tell a difference in milage or power? Thanks
  3. Yes the riser was between the carb and air cleaner. Qman, are the pictures of your setup still available?
  4. Has anybody tried using a front caliper off a '82 with the solid rotors on the rear?
  5. I read somewhere that FUJI licensed the engine design from Germany/VW Also, on the V8, I owned a 1923 Cadillac that came with a V8 with a custom aluminum body by Fisher and 23 inch wheels. It also had giant Westinghouse air shocks that sat outside the body, behind the bumpers. They were equiped with Schrader valves and the car had an on board compressor.
  6. What years were these offered on EA-71 and on what models. Anybody have a under hood picture of a stock setup?
  7. Just to clarify...it is a Turbo Traction model...all turbo 4wd models in '85 were (including the RX). There was no GL-10 4wd in '85, all were 2wd, either turbo or MPFI. I agree that that TT with the turbo, dual range is probably as rare or more so than the RX, too bad it has the digi. My friend had the same car, '85 TT sedan, dual range, air suspension, dig, checkered interior, and no LSD.
  8. Get that Diamond Edition! Is it a turbo? I saw one of those here but it was not a turbo and it was a wagon. I talked with the owner and she said Subaru gave the Diamond Edition cars to the US Ski Team members. They are only a 100 unit production run, very limited! Hers was 5/100, with black paint and loaded.
  9. The XT-T rear bar is also 20mm, I had a '86 XT-T and have a '87.5 XT-T and both have the 20mm bar.
  10. Do you have full set of magnum wheels? I'm looking for two.
  11. Looking good...maybe you can bring it to WCSS6?
  12. I picked up a nice set of dual carbs for my '78 Brat with no air cleaner. I'm looking for the air cleaner or suggestions on alternatives. Do these use a riser cetween the carb and air cleaner? I found one in the carand the single carb doesn't have one. ...thanks.
  13. Yep, that looks like the same car. It didn't have the canopy on it. Looked pretty nice.
  14. The downtown is aging but there, there is a new area of development above downtown and it's looking like the new downtown. Who's Rollie? The car didn't look like it saw much offroad action, it was pretty nice. There was a middle aged lady driving it. Does he live in Shelton? Do you know where he works?
  15. I saw a nice looking, dark blue, lifted brat with pugs in downtown Shelton yesterday. Just wondering if anybody here knows who's it is.
  16. Take and inventory of your trouble codes on the ECU, that's a good place to start too.
  17. Yep, pre 87.5 and you have to cut the lower portion of the front cross peice out to fit the six in...
  18. That's great, I was hoping somebody would grab it...
  19. Go with the dual range. the low range is nice to have and no vacuum crap to mess with. I have one for sale for $75. I'm in Olympia.
  20. Yes Subiegal is your best bet, she loves to encourage the younger set. Watch the meet and greet page for Rally Cross Races, there will be some in the Portland area and one or two in Seattle. For $25 you can make three or four runs around the Rally Cross track and she can ride with you and be your navigator. I think there is one coming up in May. I run my '87 RX coupe and it's a blast, my navigator is 9 but quite capable. Where's Thorp?
  21. does it have a good return spring on the throttle?
