  1. Up higher it may be, but not here.
  2. I've heard nothing. I have left 3 messages this week with no response, so as far as I know I'm not doing anything.
  3. Wanna see some REAL subarr rockcrawlin? Check this lonk out of us at the moonrocks where some national competitions have been held: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=47241&highlight=moonrocks But yeah thats cool, I think I've seen that one before, or a similar one. Still pretty cool.
  4. Hey. Its good to know you got that thing all right. You are swapping from open to limited slip right? If so here is the link to the rebuild: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=49919 There's also another thread around her that I'll post up in here that has a diagram. Good luck with the rebuild. EDIT: Here ya go with that second thread: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=30872
  5. I'd also like to know a little more on the install. Tex - I bought a couple of valve cap sets from SummitRacing.com, they were 6$ for a set of 20. They contain a few different sizes. EDIT: Here's the link to those vacuum caps: http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?Ntt=valve+caps&searchinresults=false&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&N=115&target=egnsearch.asp And here's a link to what you want to do with the Valve Cover hoses: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=46314
  6. Hey Zeno, you in for some skiing? TSJ? I have a pass to northstar and sierra, so maybe we could hit that up this weekend.
  7. Well if Mudrat79 doesn't come through again, I'll definitely be in, otherwise I'll be in chico picking up my parts. I'll get ahold of you either way Brian.
  8. I know its a little early for this to be started, but interest has been shown by a few members from california and Nevada about caravanning up to WCSS8 and I want to make sure that ALL of us get together to ride up there. Lets make this happen this year, lets get as many people as we can together. As far as I know right now, its me (JIBS), SUBIEMAN, and NV ZENO heading out from Reno. NVbigBlue will most likely come along, maybe DarkSTI, too. Thesubarujunkie will definitely be in. a few other members have wanted to come along too, how about Subiewonkenobi, Jeremy? And renaissanceman? you gonna want to head up this way? NuclearBacon wants to come from the bay area also. Subynut, you guys comin this year again? Lets get ideas started.
  9. The wagon gonna be trailered again? Its cool that I'll actually KNOW some people here, I feel like I fit in a little more than WCSS6, I was like a deer in the headlights that whole weekend. That's cool man I was messin witcha. Have fun at Burning man either way I've heard its.....different. I've never been, but have had quite a few friends go.
  10. DUDE!! This is WAYYY Better than Burning man! Plus all of us Norcal and NV guys all ride up in a convoy together its way fun. I think we had 7 or 8 cars in our convoy heading into Hood River for WCSS6.
  11. I also vote for MWE, mine are holding up real well.
  12. Looks good! Good job and welcome to the realm of wheel options.
  13. YAY!!! FUN FUN!!! Do you think you will set up the mud pit like WCSS6 or will it be a little different? Can you guys get some shade trees growing before then as well? That's awesome though, I liked it up there when we were there and the later date is great too. I'll DEFINITELY be there!
  14. Reading the title post it seemed to me that you were gonna try to put the GL steering wheel into the impreza!
  15. I still have mine that I think I can copy for ya. I'll get it tomorrey for ya.

I have. No response there. Free bump I guess.
  17. Gen 1 Brats ran from 78-81 and gen 2's from 82-87. Gen 2 Brats are a little wider, a little longer, and the GL models have T-tops. The Gen 1 Brats all had ea71 engines except for the 81 GL models which had the ea81, as well as a Dual range 4wd. ALL gen 2 Brats had ea81's.
  18. Good deal. Sounds like progress is being made, now we all just have to keep up the good work and keep it clean.
  19. So HOPEFULLY, Mudrat is gonna bring my stuff down to Chico this weekend, so after that I'm gonna need some help installing it into the Brat, so is there anyone in the area that wants to help? We can work on a few cars as I know NVZeno has some things to fix too. We'll be working in an actual GARAGE! courtesy of my sister, and I will buy lunches for all who help. This will hopefully happen within the next 2 or 3 weekends, but if not thats cool too it can wait till the 12th of February as well. Lets get it goin.
  20. Want another one? I can go out and find the one I threw in the bushes after tearing it out of my Brat! Seriously though, I don't like them, mine gave me so much trouble on the way back from wcss7. I limped the Brat home like 200 miles with one of the bolts out of the carb. (Who seriously thought that having one of the bolts mount from underneath was a good idea?) We hyad the whole thing glued to the manifold with rtv sealant, it was horrible.
  21. I am having the same problem with my 81 EA81 Brat, anyone know the spline count on those hubs? What will work for them?
  22. Yeah Good Job! I want a ride at this year's show though. Anyway, Keep it up and here's to it runnin well for a long while.
