So all of us Nevada guys hit up the Moonrocks again, and this time we did some of the more technical stuff. I FRIED the clutch in Lifted, and it can no longer drive. Other than that not too much damage done. Here are pics of Lifted, others will post pics of their rigs. Here's all of us together: Flexin: I almost tipped it there, here's another shot: And here's some SWEET action pics, this rock line I picked was pretty hairy:

That sucks to hear man, but am glad you got it replaced. It'll be as good as new with a new paint job. I hope we can expect to see some video of it? Glad to hear you're safe.

I wanna start rebuilding this ea81 that I pulled from my lifted Brat and was wondering if any of you have any tips for me. Also, to get a decent amount of HP and power out of this car for a semi cheap budget, what would you recommend? Turbo heads? Dual Carb manifold? What else? Thanks.

yeah, don't be afraid to come stock, its seriously not too bad. It'll probably be better to air down, but is the compressor won't work for alll our cars I'm not too worried. Its a ways to the nearest gas station too, so I won't mind running street air pressure. BTW: anyone remember Scrub2k? He's gonna meet us too. -

Yeah, Scolari's is on Lemmon Drive. If'n you don't wanna drive to Jeremy's and then drive back the other way call me at (775) two19-6443 and I can meet you at the Shell Station at Red Rock. My place is on the other side of the freeway at that exit. Its the exit before Cold springs. -
Thanks for the call John I appreciate it. I'm glad we got things squared away.

The Moon rocks are out in the backside of Red Rock towards pyramid Lake. If you wanna make it, you could meet TheSubaruJunkie In town as he's comin through and hook up with the rest of us. NV Zeno is also comin from Carson, maybe you could meet as well. Otherwise let me know, I can give you directions to my place. (Its easy to get to) If Brian is gonna be at the wagon at 10, maybe we should all be at my place by then eh? It sounds like a plan. -
Lets get out and wheel THIS SUNDAY November 20th. I'm in, Subieman is in. Thesubarujunkie is most likely gonna make it. We're taking his wagon for the FINAL FINAL time. I'm bringin the videocamera and we're takin lots of footage and pics. NV Zeno, are you in?

Anybody remember ORSA?
Jibs replied to TheSubaruJunkie's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Yeah I remember. (Not even close) Come on spill the beans! -
I know you haven't forgotten about me John, but I had to put off coming up there for a while after not hearing from you. Was gonna come up this past Friday-Monday, now I may have to wait until January to get free time. Thats not gonna be fun getting up there then either. How's the tranny coming BTW?

see what happens when a rear wheel bearing locks up....

Thats Crazy! Its a good thing I just started the replacement of my rear bearings in the Brat! I'd hate for it to go out like yours did! -
lookin good. I like the idea of a mesh grille. BTW - when trying to post a pic in a thread there is a "picture" button when you're typing the message. It looks like a postcard icon, just copy the address of where the pic is stored on the internet and post it in there.

It's like about 20 minutes all dirt roads. Its down on Red Rock Road past the shell station where you aired up and just out farther. We'll definitely get out there.

28x8.5 Super Swamper TSL's. I got pretty close to that rock face about 3 or feet behind that pic.

I've been trying to call him too. His cell has been disconnected again. Thats too bad about his tooth, he got them taken out like 2 weeks ago.

Did a little wheelin today at a local place called the Moonrocks. Its a big Granite outburst of rock out in the middle of the desert. They have all sorts of competitions there during the year. I took it pretty easy what with no reverse and single range with 28's, but we hit some fun stuff. This was the last thing we did before we left and the pics don't do it justice. Its an off camber spot up against a granite wall. I kept up with a Stock Jeep Rubicon though, so that was cool. Here's the only pic we got of the Brat:

Check out Subarubrat.com, he made a custom rear diff mount that's way stronger than the original. I don't know if it'd work in a non lifted soob, but it's worth a try I'm sure. EDIT: Here is the link to the page. http://www.subarubrat.com/diffmount.htm

Yeah all right thatnks for the quick response.

I don't know if anything what I am looking for exists, but here goes. I'm gonna install my weber soon and the 2 hoses that come out of the valve covers on either side of the engine concern me a little. They don't get covered with anything so I was wondering if there was a breather or filter that would fit these hoses? I talked to a buddy of mine who covered them and he had a little bit of an oil leak and pressure build up. I don't like that. I know that anbother friend of mine has a modified fuel filter hooked up to his. I could do that I guess, if nothing else comes about. What do you suggest?

EDIT: Here's a link to SubaruBrat's Lifted Brat with the ER27 in it: http://www.subarubrat.com/er27install.htm Here's a few pics of that wagon with the H6 at WCSS7:

Yeah I got them a LONG time ago. Actually I JUST installed them though about 2 weeks ago when TSJ helped me with my rear discs.
