  1. These videos are great! I watch them all the time. Can I buy the subarubicon video for this contribution? If so I'll send money right away.
  2. Looks like fun, if only I were closer..........
  3. I don't have any advice, so sorry, but I DO have a funny story. I have a Brat that had some problems and broke down in town. I drug a friend out to help me and we got it running, then decided to go to lunch. Well, what do you know, he locks the only key inside. The windows were completely up, so no luck there. He got in by pounding on the roof (It was a GL, and had T-Tops) and I'll be a monkey's uncle, if the lever didn't come loose and he opened the t-top, took it out and we climbed inside the t-top and opened the door. I tried this trick later with no luck, I guess the t-top was *just* loose enough to open up. So there. Sorry for the post jack.

How about ozified.com, or Try calling Mudrat79
  5. When I bought my 85 Brat, it had 95,000 miles on it. Now it has 112,000. I saw a hatch in the Sacramento Junkyard the otherday with 70,000 on it.
  6. Try subarubrat.com too, I remember seeing that he had redone his mustache bar with his lift.
  7. Super Swamper TSL's 28 x 8.5 14LT I don't know why I chose them, I remember looking at LOTS of tires before I got them and I guess I just ended up with them. They're awesome! I haven't had any problems with them other than they are a smidge big for the ea81. But with a weber I'm sure I could pull it off quite qell.
  8. Yeah its an old stream bed next close to a dried up lake. At one point there was LOTS of water here a LONG time ago. But yeah this thing only gets wet twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring and then dry after that. The pics were taken this february or so.
  9. Here's pics of the brat swimming: That was after a few days of letting it sit and some had evaporated. I had gone through this puddle a few days earlier, and the water was over the headlights. Here's the deepest part, going th other way:
  10. Well, you have my number, if you head this way, you're always welcome to drop in.
  11. WCSS7:
  12. They're great! I have them somewhere, too bad I don't have fast internet or a place to host them.
  13. I have another question. I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday who had put a weber onto his wagon and he said that he had some problems with an oil leak where he capped the valve cover hoses. He said that because there was no air getting to valves, he was getting higher oil pressure in there and some was leaking from there. Is this ok? Should I cap them when I install my weber as well? Thanks.
  14. It depends on what state you live in. I can drive around Nevada without doors and it's completely LEGAL. No doors. Nothing. I had some tube doors built for the brat because I was traveling into Washington, and they have laws stating that you need SOME resemblance of doors on your car.
  15. I can't make it this weekend, but maybe when I get my stuff from Mudrat, I REALLY REALLY want to see if I can head up there and wheel with some of you guys.
  16. Glad you made it back all right, but next time STOP BY!!
  17. All right you caught me. I WAS gonna install another battery there for the winch, lights and stuff. So that air box doesn't need to be there after the weber? Thanks a million. I'll have to go back and look at the pics I took of your Brat!
  18. I have a question. I'm going to install my weber soon and I was wondering that since I DON'T have to smog my soob here in Nevada, would I be able to get rid of the air cannister on the drivers side corner of the soob, near where the jack mount is? I might have an idea for that section of the car.
  19. All right John I'll call tonight. I have been checking my messages and I haven't seen any or have had messages lately. Maybe the roomate has erased them and forgot to tell me.

I bet when you were sitting there stuck, you were a little mad and saying how much it sucked to be stuck, but now you're laughing at it looking back eh? I'm always like that when I get stuck.
  21. So The Brat seems all right now, just fiddled with a few things, and it seems to be all right. So is anyone up for doing a little wheeling Sunday or Monday afternoon? Are we all going to try to hook up at the Rib cookoff? I want to get this thing together.
  22. Those US Wheels shouldn't cost you too much, I run 2 different sets of US Wheels on the Brat. I bought mine new from summit for close to 21$ new each. Well, I guess plus shipping. But yeah convert to 6-lug, it DOES make the soobs look better. I wouldn't go bigger than a 28" tire either, it makes our soobs a little sluggish. A lifted sedan would be SWEET!
  23. The Rib cookoff started today. Guess where I was for lunch? It goes until Monday I believe. I have to work on Sunday, but maybe can get off early. The Brat isn't doing too good right now though, I think the vacuum hoses to the carb are messed up. It died all of the sudden the other day and then worked and then crapped out. I got it doing all right after messing with vaccuum hoses. we'll see though.
  24. Yeah, or even if you drive through Reno, we'd like to meet ya. Maybe a quick stop for lunch or gas or somethin.
  25. HECK YEAH! I wasn't about to let that stuff sit there. Like I said I'll get pics very soon.
