  1. I'll be at your house at 8:00. I know you live just down the street from me, but could you PM me with your address so I'm sure to be on time? Thanks!
  2. I guess I'll start this off. This is my EA82 with six Pilot Navigator fogs: Personally, I love them. For $40 a pair, they do surprisingly well. Very bright.
  3. Either day would work great for me. In fact, Saturday is probably a little bit better, but either day is fine. Yay, I can't wait
  4. Are S/R, unlifted rigs welcome? I don't know the terrain, is it going to be more than a relatively-stock wagon can handle? If so, and I can swing it, I'd love to come.
  5. Likewise, I'd be interested, depending on price, size, offset, and the availability of steel wheels. Ideally, I'm looking for 14x6 or 14x7, similar offset to Peugeots, steel, black powdercoat finish. Something along those lines.
  6. Yep, right next to the stereo. Pop out the stereo and it's to the left. Pink connector. I removed mine the day I bought my car.
  7. I use my vehicle as a support rig for my shop's demo vehicle and my best friend's showcar. She's not lifted, but it still gets a lot of looks and a lot of comments. Most of my friends own showcars, and even though an old Subaru is totally not their style, they still respect it, as I respect theirs. That's what matters - we may not have the same cars, but we respect each other.
  8. You should be able to tap power off one of the constant power wires underneath the dashboard. No need to go from the battery unless you're running a big Kauna of a headunit like a new Alpine, higher-end Eclipse, or a big Kenwood. Your Pioneer will be just fine on tapped power. Hook that wire to the yellow, the switched 12v goes to the red, and ground out the black wire, whether through the stock wiring or the chassis. As mentioned, you'll definately want to run new speaker wiring, since early Subarus are common-ground, which tends to piss off and eventually destroy floating-ground decks.
  9. Another vote for balance and fader. Those little guys only work with common-ground systems, usually.
  10. You're kidding me! I wonder if the same bracket would work on an EA82. You might have just pointed me in exactly the right direction, thanks!
  11. When you get this bad boy on there, please please please take pictures of the process, including any bracketing you make. I've been looking for a high-output alternator solution. Thanks!
  12. Both of my Loyales came with 15s. Tire size 135/70/15. To answer the original question, considering Pug wheels are so incredibly cheap, it would wind up being hardly more expensive for a set of 4 15" Pug steels, and you'd at least be safe then.
  13. ^ Indeed. You'll need to make/get someone to make brackets to fit.
  14. Thanks guys!! I totally appreciate it. Gonna go give that a shot this afternoon. Thanks again .
  15. Thanks! Glad to see I was on the right track. Considering the coolant is full in the radiator and the overflow has some in it, how would I go about removing this air bubble?
  16. Bwahahaha... that rocks. You should take an audio clip so we can hear how it sounds!
  17. Okay, the only way I can describe this sound is that it sounds exactly like when you try to get the last little drops of your coke out of the cup with a straw. Seems to be coming from the heater core, and it happens every 10 minutes or so, sometimes louder than others. I checked the coolant level and it looks fine, but I'm guessing there's an air pocket in the system. Am I on the right track?
  18. I dunno if the VINs carried info about the engines/transmissions or not, but if they did, it might be a good idea to have a section relating to VIN decoding. Perhaps a photograph of each engine in its various forms would be useful too.
  19. Some people have also had luck using a Metra dash kit from an EA82. Unfortunately, I don't remember the part number off the top of my head. I'm sure you already know this, but just in case you don't, you're going to have to run new speaker leads to at least three of your four speakers (and you might as well do all four). EA81s are common-ground (all four speakers share the same ground), and hooking up a floating-ground (each speaker has its own groud) deck to a common-ground system is going do nuke the headunit. EA82s are nearly as bad, since they're common-ground front-to-rear, meaning if you have rear speakers (I don't), you have to rewire them.
  20. Throw a set of Enkeis on there, spaced out with some fat tires and paint everything flat black - it'll look awesome.
  21. NGK! Used them in my Nissan, my old wagon, and they're in my current one too.
  22. Yep, radiator, timing belts, and oil leaks are the main problems. I had a '92 Loyale that I put over 30,000 miles on in one year. Other than the radiator going bad, the thing was a tank. Now I've got a '93, and it's even better. Great cars.
  23. Paid $25 a wheel for my 14" alloys with bad tires, $20 for an alloy without a tire, and $10 for a 14" steel with a tire. Now, admittedly, that's pretty cheap, but a yard that gets lots of volume shouldn't charge a whole lot. After all, it's not like there's a ton of demand for Peugeot wheels.
  24. Something along the lines of $10 for plastic, $30 for aluminum.
