  1. Hey, what part of Skagit county do you live in? I live in Bow, work in Burlington. I replaced the engine on my RX too, I bought the car in poor shape. I called http://www.foreignenginesinc.com/door/ and the dropped off the engine at my door next day, no shipping charges. They're from Lynwood. It was around $800. Or, if you want to take it off my hands, I have an extra block sitting around. And there is a Machine shop in Mount Vernon, that will order heads for you for $500 I think. --Todd
  2. I have one of those flexibe/bendy screwdrivers, which worked great. I didn't have to move anything. Putting tps back on is a little bit of a pain.
  3. Yep, ridiculously expensive new. I think Napa said it was a couple hundred. What's the deal with that? Its not a complex device.

  7. I got one from http://www.foreignenginesinc.com/door/ in Lynwood. Theynext day delivered to my door for free(40 min drive) Came with all the accessories, which worked fine. I did replace some hoses/sensors, and the wiring harness does come from the opposite side, but It was a simple install even for my first time. Haven't had any problems with the engine
  8. So I got my RX injectors back from RC engineering. The results were good. Interesting to look at the before and after picture you can see the cleaned on the right. The gap is wider, and they all came back a different color? wierd off my donor engine never actually ran in my rx: before/ after 221--Dripping/ 238 exc 230--good /240-exc 235--good /242-exc 1 with electrical damage replaced with injector from car 220--good /240-exc Interesting how the one that was actually on my car, had a good spray pattern but, the worst cc/min
