  1. I have an 88 as well. I will try to get some good pictures later. I'd have to try to label them too, for them to make much sense.
  2. the RX cost $1,100 --new engine 800 --upgrades, parts replacement(who can keep track?) 1,000? = $2,900 The legacy cost $9,800 +STI transplant, suspension, 3 different sets of wheels/tires, painted cf hood, bumper repairs, etc. = a lot, but its worth it:)
  3. Can you maybee take a picture of the vaccuum hose in question. I have some pictures might help you, but I'm not on my home computer right now
  4. Hmm, wasn't really thinking of doing this, but how much do you think for 5 lug swap parts?
  5. What exactly is the deal with these?
  6. I used to mess with it using a flexible screwdriver, but actually found out is was WAY easier just using on of those short, stubby screwdrivers. The hard part is puting it back on. You'll need a magnet
  7. I recently changed the wheels on my legacy. Well turns out one of them was only hand tightened. I had forgotten to come back through with the wrench. I drove a good 20 miles before It became a big problem, since the wheel was about to come off. I didn't have a lug wrench with me, so I had to drive, and re-hand tighten it every 1/2 miles or less to get home. Had to stop about 20 times.
  8. I will most likely be there too with a press permit, taking photos
  9. I feel your pain, man. I recently had my legacy hit in a parking lot, while it was parked, and whoever hit it ( I don't know) did a good amount of damage.
  10. I'm gonna say TPS, from the fact that it won't have power, then it suddenly comes on hard. Maybee try adjusting it a little, and adjust idle speed screw accordingly
  11. My RX seems to run better on plus grade
  12. Thats why I have one of each, its the best way to go. welcome back
  13. Aren't you gonna clean that up a little? --definitely replace those coolant hoses, actually replace all the coolant hoses, seriously. Good luck
  14. WJM put it quite well...
  15. I have a set of AGX's on my legacy, and they are great, especially for the price. I think they're not actually listed for the legacy, and I got impreza ones, nonetheless, the RX needs these badly
  16. It should be positioned to where the rotor is pointing at #1 terminal, right?
  17. Adjusting the idle will only help for a while, then the hesitation problem will come back
  18. http://www.cascadeautosport.com/ or Dave Clark 425.221.2470
  19. I like the paintjob
  20. Ya, ditto. It was a pleasant, unexpected surprise to see your car in there. Good stuff:)
