  1. Hey! There's no Subaru in that picture!
  2. Turbo pipes are protected by the skidplate. Regular Y-pipes hang down in front of it. Tire size won't change that. I'm pretty sure shadyirishman has turbo pipes with a Weber on his EA82, and a few others but I'm can't remember who...
  3. Is there a reason you don't have your car set up this way?
  4. I'll take that! What alls involved? Do you have a pic of the pipe, I'm trying to envision how this works. I haven't spent much time around Turbo cars.
  5. 1000 feet down to a big ol' Subie splatter.
  6. I smash my y-pipe with alarming frequency. I wanna set up my car with a turbo pipe for the ground clearance. Who's done this on a non-turbo car? I need details!
  7. No, it's Moab, UT - about 300 miles from the Grand. Still a product of the Colorado River though.
  8. It's not my best shot, but I don't think you guys have seen this one before. If it comes to votin', I'll post something better. And for no particular reason, here's one of me crashing my bike.
  9. Thanks. I shoulda gotten closer to the edge!
  10. For a Brat you'll probably want a BYB lift.
  11. Agreed. Plus, when you hit a traffic circle at 40 on three wheels... well, it's good stuff. The Imp is a wee bit faster than our cars Consider that though. Like, if I'm doing 80 on the highway (downhill of course) and I gotta swerve, it can be a little sketchy sans swaybars.
  12. Your Toyota is cool... now, never speak of it again.
  13. WESTERN SLOPE! Or at least in the middle somewhere- like Breck or Vail. Driving all the way to the FR is becoming rather expensive for me. Besides what's the point of a Colorado meet if it's not in the friggin mountains?!
  14. My 225/70 Libs on 14" pug alloys give me big volume and a wide footprint. That's a 26.5 tire. Plenty! $45 bucks is a deal, but I woulda bought them even if they cost more. Good quality product, great all around performance. With the demise of the Coopers (which are weak IMO) they're definetly the best 14", besides swampers which aren't very practical. Seriously, CO is never "muddy" per say, so don't bother with a mud tire. Besides, 4x140 is so uniquely Subie, how could you give that up for 6 lug?
  15. Save yourself some cash and get Liberators. Also, I say no bigger than a 27"-28"... so go with 14's. Our cars just don't have the gears for anything bigger. A Weber is prolly more important than the LSD or rear discs.
  16. Not to be a smartass, but since I didn't quote you or buy wheels from you, then I'm probably not asking you.
  17. Ok here's a few from earlier this year.
  18. True dat. When I got those wheels/lugs from you a while back there was a single chromed steel one-piece lug in with the others... that's what I want, do you know where they came from? The two-piece lugs are slightly annoying.
  19. I got it online from Steet Beat Customs in Phoenix, it was like $350 for the kit. I installed it myself by measuring very carefully about 100 times, then attacking with a sawzall. If you search for "ragtop wagon" you'll find an old thread about it, although all the associated pics have since been deleted.
  20. I say 2" - 3" blocks for the diff carrier and mustache bar. F the diff clearance, that's not the advantage of doing it this way.
  21. Here you go. Mines 40x45, sliding canvas. You could probably go maybe 10" longer, but I like having a little roof over my head.
  22. I'm not stuck. Sleeper isn't stuck either. OK, OK. I lied. We're both stuck. Took a little run up 21 RD/Hunters Canyon. We didn't get real far, but we drank alot of beer. This looks REAL safe. And few other random images. Sorry about the fuzziness....
