i found you another xt ,i think it is an xt6 ,1400 dollars, it is in a local paper , i have not seen it , only pics, it looks good , 90,000mi

so i guess you no longer need xt parts ?

oct 25th is no good, for me , but any other time would be good, it would be nice to have a place to set up a flee market new and used parts along with off road , bon fire at night , a place to do alittle work

how far up into mi is the car ?

mine is just the opposite , if i run cheaper oil i will leak or burn more , i run dura blend castrol 10-w30 in my turbo motor w/ 91,000mi ,i change it every 6,000mi , so you pay the same as if you were using cheaper oil and of course a good oem filter

well had a car payment of 350 month , we decided to sell it and the loan was paid off , we have 3 subaru's , 86 spfi a/t fwd sedan, 88 dl d/r wagon, 88 full time 4wd turbo wagon , 2 are running good ,the full time had air struts and i had to put regular struts in , the subaru's in the 80's are smaller and are limited on space , alittle less hp , but no car payment and less insurance ,

as i was stripping out an xt [ 2 in fact] turbo , i found a silver box thing under i think the passanger side carpet ,and i was not sure what it was , this could be what your talking about

i think you can honda accord springs , but other board members can answer that

well as far as the rear end i used xt trailing arm , springs, sway bar,,but the front struts from an xt will work ,but it will sit pretty low , i am also in need of front adjustable manual struts for my full time 4wd a/t turbo wagon , because the front sits lower than the back , the back air struts have quit working now,

i would help ,but i have no truck or trailer , miles fox in nw IN ,can help you with motor work etc.. but he has no pc right now and gets on here every so oftern

well here in ohio i will not buy a car with out a title , because when i junk it the bone yards wants a title

i used the rear end from an xt , rear disc, trailing arm, sway bar, the hole thing , and mine looks good ,

can you run chevron dello 15-w 40 in a non turbo'; ? like my 88 spfi dual range wagon non turbo ?

well that is just what i use, other board members might use other brands just my opinion

castrol dura blend 10-w-30 , 9.80 5 qt at wal-mart , that is what i use, i change it every 6,000mi and a good filter

i have a 86 spfi a/t fwd sedan that does the same thing , i tried mmo , helped alittle , i changed the oil to castrol dual blend 10-w -30 , 9.80 for 5qt jug at wa-mart , and it went away , other board members have there own opinion , just my 2 cents

check the heater hoses first, which are right below the spare tire, if it is a hg i paid 200 bucks for a complete set from napa and about 14hrs with 3 guys , but the gasket set had alot of extra gaskets left for other cars

that is the way i have found alot of mine , or i have found them parked in a driveway and walked up and asked the owner if it is for sale , in fact i just went and looked at 1 last night which is for sale , but it had alot of rust, and needed axles, oil seals, ecs light on, bullet hole in windshield , i passed on it

but it would not hurt to aleast have it sitting at home , and maybe a few other small parts ,
