  1. 125 around here depends also on milage , if you can find them , make sure you get the shift linkage, console
  2. here is 1 , i found an 87 d/r wagon needing a clutch , the owner says it will cost 800 bucks for the job , [ labor / parts] to fix it
  3. i have had tires blow out on me before , trailer or drives , sounds like a shoot gun, i few years back i had a younger guy fall asleep and side swap the drive tires and then, along the trailer ,and i was hauling hazard material [ glow in the dark stuff] , to be honest i was safer in my truck than in my car , his car blew out 1 of my trailer tires .

  12. i have a set of turbo heads from a xt , it had a blown headgasket , so i have clue how the heads are , but only 40,000mi on them what are they worth ? thinking about selling them ?
  13. buy a new 1 from napa about 50 bucks
  14. another common place is the front of the timming belt , , oil pump seals, crank seals, just my ..2$
  15. anyone use these ? any comments , ? do they work ? , they are pretty cheap on ebay
  16. i use castrol dura blend, i put it a 86 fwd a/t spfi sedan , also a 88 turbo a/t full time 4wd wagon , and the 86 gets 1 mpg more ,and it runs better , the turbo's mpg is about the same but it also runs better , i change them every 6,000mi ,by the way eveyone is talking all oil is the same , well think what you want to think , in my opinion they are not
  17. buy it and fix it up or sell parts off of it , any pics? how bads the rust ? interior? rear seats?
  18. check the heater hoses , because they can leak on the bottom of the hoses and can be hard to see , right below the spare tire, 2 hoses
  19. well there could be a very bad oil leak, from the cam cover seals, leaking onto the exhaust or rear main, or 1/2 in hose underneith the turbo leaking coolant , look under oil cap, look in radiator , pull dipstick for water , if your going to buy it , also look at the drive axles, any past records , look for any rust , all depends on price

  23. not to jack another post, my 88 dl d/r 5sp wagon does just the opposite , starts up good but will die 5sec later , after it warms up it , it will idle ok, ecu code coolant temp sensor , i replaced the coolant temp sensor , still does the same thing, new fuel filter. acell coil, ngk plugs , k-n filter, new cap, rotor , it is also a spfi motor
