  1. here in this part of ohio we do not have emission laws, i left the pipe on from the motor and i call it a big foot ball and had it cleaned out but left the shell on , and 2in pipe all the way back and a turbo muffler , it will make the motor run cooler and more hp but alittle tint sound not bad , ngk plugs, 8mm wires, acell coil, k-n filter
  2. are the back seat passangers drinking any cold drinks ?
  3. also here is something , when you get new tires put onto a car ot truck any make alot of times they will put less air into the tires so you will wear the tires down faster and come back and buy other , just my 2 cents
  4. could be a rear main or oil pump seal , are you sure it is oil, also could be tranny fluid ,there is a seal there ,

  6. kinda wish my wife got her hands dirty , but she did 1 time and i got pics of it , all we have a subaru's 88 dl 4wd, 88 turbo full time 4wd, a/t, 86 spfi a/t fwd, 88 fwd manual wagon, but after 17 yrs i still love her , when the boys stop by to give me a hand she always fixes food for all of us
  7. do not go though a local bank , i did , and when i turned it back in it was a pain , nick pick everything ,if i would lease again go though subaru
  8. it is just like me when i posted , i have a 86 spfi a/t fwd blue sedan , and yes only in a a/t fwd in that year

  10. i also need a rotor for my dl and there is a carquest near by ,so could you post the part#
  11. are the rotors the same , because there are different rotors , i bought 6 off ebay thinking they would work ,but they only fit xt's, i think you pull the cap off and on the dist it self is a part # and that will tell what rotor you need , wjm here on the board can get you rotors
  12. checked all fuses they are all good ??
  13. no i did not touch the bulb , the hi beam worked good just the low beam was out , i will go out and check the fuses
  14. i changed the passanger side bulb , the dim was out and the hi beam was ok, ,drove the car a few miles and the low beam is out again , it is a 86 gl spfi a/t sedan , any help ?
  15. on my 2000 outback wagon ,it was just the bulb i found mine at wal-mart, i had to remove the big fat plastic tube , do not touch the bulb when putting it back in , i think it screws in and out
  16. my automatics are fine in fact the 86 spfi a/t fwd and the 88 a/t full time 4wd will out run my 88 dual range wagon
  17. my 88 dl 4wd manual does the same thing , just in the mornings bucks and almost stalls , but it has 180,000mi
  18. well i think i did pretty good when , i myself , john , miles fox, went to a yard in columbus ,oh , 200 for everything and we had a hole pickup load , doors, hood, fenders, gl-10 seat, 2 row radiator, atls, clusters, compressors, , it was my first time at a u-pull apart , had a great time
  19. try mmo or dual-a -blend oil castrol , and a good filter
  20. well any past records , check drive axles, check underneith rust, ac working ? and of course drive it , any over heating problems , depending on the miles on the car it might need timming belts ,water pump, tune up , seals, gaskets,
  21. put the new thermostat in just like the old 1 came out
