  1. well i use 180, make sure you put in a new thermo gasket also, may check all radiator hoses, change heater hoses, check fan belts, change diff fluid, wiper blades,
  2. yes after i warm it up it will not do it as bad ,
  3. after the car sits for awhile like over night, it starts up fine idle is fine , i 'll put it into 1 st gear and start moving and push on the gas it will almost stall or buck and run real slow for a few feet , after it is warmed up it is fine , timing is set , new fuel filter, acell coil, 8mm wires, new cap, but i did not change the rotor , or is it something else ?
  4. well something like this happaned to me ,but i was in the semi and some how through a good size rock from the rear most trailer tires and hit a chev -s-10 , and i did not not know i did it ,until the guy waved me down , but in your case improper load [ not tied down] in my case it is called a road hazard

  8. i asked this before but can not find the post, will an 88 xt 4wd fuel tank fit into a fwd seden or 4wd wagon ?
  9. i have an xt fuel tank from an 88 single range will it fit onto a turbo 4wd wagon or fwd sedan , since i am stripping down an xt it might be a good to keep a spare fuel tank , i can get it check out for free and cleaned out etc...
  10. i have a fuel tank from a xt , the xt was a single range 4wd , will it fit onto a 86 spfi a/t fwd sedan ? or a 4wd a/t turbo wagon ?
  11. mine does almost the same thing, at 65mpr , when you brake hard the steering will shake alot back and fourth but i am thinking the rotors are warped or pads
  12. the owner says it could be a 90-91 i forgot to look at the vn# , no rust underneith , bosh anti- abs brakes, i think i can talk her down , now to tell the wife, or just buy it and hide it
  13. well the car has no battery and sitting in weeds , but it has not been sitting just to long , the rear hatch does not open , drivers side mirror is missing , small crack in windshield , i may offer her alittle less and take my chances ,thanks
  14. since i know alittle about the 80s but not to munch about the 90s , i found a 90 awd legacy l a/t wagon silver 122,000mi good body , no rust, but the owner says it will not hold water, so 3 things it could be, 1- radiator, HG, or water pump, it also has abs brakes , or could it be something else?
  15. well a full gasket set from napa is 200 bucks , it took about 14 hours with 3 guys , well 2 guys new what they were doing and i did not , if the body is good and no rust , and what you will have it after everything is done ., and a place to do the job and tools
  16. when you switched the coils did you by mistake pull on the coil wire ? did you hook up the coil wires right ? check the fuse under the dash
  17. a good friend of mine would do the hole job for alot less , we could do it in my garage , all seals , timming belts, water pump, etc... if you would buy all the parts , but i am aleast 3.5 hrs away from you
  18. my wife would really like that on her turbo wagon , man you make them and sell them , my wife's car would be the only car in the area like that
  19. the xt is a manual single range and the turbo wagon is a full time 4wd , will they interchange ?
  20. will front struts from a xt work and fit on a front 88 gl-10 a/t turbo wagon ? my air struts on my turbo wagon are a pain and i am going to replace them
  21. i would use napa complete set around 200 bucks ,it comes with alot of gaskets all possible needed and then some
