  1. if its coming from the front of the motor, it is not a bad thing. if its coming from tailpipe its more of a concern.
  2. damn thats one clean engine what casued that?
  3. obviously i cant make it can someone take some pics
  4. i would split the block and have a machine shop check the crank out.
  5. supposedly the washers are one use only, but its not a huge deal to re use them
  6. sounds like a classic starter solenoid gone bad. yes sometimes the cables go bad but its usually the ground side.
  7. high Carbon monoxide can mean a bad catalytic converter.
  8. id worry more about turn signals
  9. happens every day around here, ill give you a tip. dont lock up the brakes if you want to steer, i slam on the brakes all the time but i dont try to lock them up. usually it happens so often (illinois drivers really are horrid) that i often just leave myself a space where i can run off the road instead.
  10. thanks, i havent heard that song in a long long time.
  11. oh im sorry, sounds frustrating to use.
  12. yeah grab some Kroil for bad bolts. sounds like you want to replace the innards rather than the whole unit. thats a bit more ambitious than changing the transmission out.
  13. or just bend the corners more so its a tighter fit
  14. if you have a nice "stick welder" what i would do, and am eventually, is to buy a wire feeder for it. sure it wont have all the bells and whistles of a normal mig, like spray mode etc, but it will get the job done.
  15. a good idea anyway, any voltage drop makes for a lot of dimmness.
  16. those are a large step up from the ones in the first post. are those Autopals? anyway the better ones can handle the heat from more powerful bulbs.
  17. the light flywheels vary from manufacturer. they should clearly specify the weight. they also should provide the surface area. but its almost always the same as oem.
  18. however if you put bright bulbs in them they would blind everyone they dont have the correct reflector these or equilivant will work http://www.amazon.com/Hella-Halogen-Replacement-Headlight-Standard/dp/B000FKIURK
  19. those ebay lights arent very good, the beam pattern is pretty bad. stick with a name brand like hella or cibie, and make sure you get them in E codes, NOT DOT.
  20. sounds like the mustang's driver was very good. no matter what he was running in it i still cant imagine that chassis as anything but a handicap. no evos? are the times published somewhere?
  21. so um how well does a mustang do? those cars have a pretty bad suspension geometry from the factroy, as well as being really front heavy i imagine it must have been a handful!
  22. why would anyone buy Platinums when iridium are superior? Platinums are well known to be less forgiving.
