Headgaskets and headgaskets over and over and over 3 thiss week for me all the same bubbles and combustion in rad pushing out coolant into overflow. Brings this years total to over 25 95-98 outback 2.5ds with this headgasket problem in a row all acting the same. Surface heads new gaskets seals ect and good to go.

A cheap muti meter can tell you lots CV 13.5- 14.5 volts no more than 14.75 no less than 13.5 and 0 ac voltage have seen many alts of late that loose one diode and only works about 60 % but still works. Will ushaly cause a dim battery light thats very slightly on or flickering

On race buggy I ran a line direct to awd clutch pack gave it full line preshure no slipen there 100% locked as soon as its running 8 years in no problems with awd setup

Try this pump is 260 lpr Carter p74152HP have been useing it on turbo cars to bring up the feul volume

Very nice job !!! a 90-92 wire harness from legacy will run that engine and needs no vss to run i use this harness becuse is non obd2 and has no limp mode makes better power to. You may want to think about that harness have had many problems trying to stand alone 95 and up harneses

Black wire with blue stripe on legacy and soilid yellow on gl i jion my tach wires by were the loyale coil was mounted

+1 speed senser needs imput try a inline speed senser mabee find one on 90s ford thats inline

Check wire harness at right rear coner of car has some venting controls there and likes to break harness conectors

Booo on anything you put in the rad just plugs up cores and makes a mess just fix the gasket. Remember anything you put in rad ends up on the piston if its using coolant its burning coolant Burnt stop leak on piston well you get the idea !

My first step to slugish awd is a drive with 2wd fuse in this holds soilniond open and will clear any debrie that may be pluging curcit about 5-10 kms with 2wd fuse in then try awd out

Timing belt wrong ? or ground for injectors damaged ecu mabe does it have the injector resistor on ps firewall ? damaged resistor pack

I have seen the wire harness break close to the main plug on engine harness or the pins do not plug in right check the do a contanuity test from engine harness plug to idle motor look for damaged wire or plug termanal

Have 2 verygood 2.5d cores and a cupple cranks out can use a 2.2 crank but end up with destroked 2.3 low comp motor good for turbo not good for na the 2.5d has a smaller rod berring than 2.2 or 2.51/3 becuse of restroked crank to get long stroke 2.5d have rebiuld many 2.5ds not many problems

Try a hp feul pump having lots with low feul preshure ishues a Carter P74152HP pump is 260 lpr vs the stock 160 lpr have fix to misfire cars with this part in last week

Pluged oil ring oil feed holes drys out top side of cly wall and burns oil comp is good becuse is not a comp ring problem is oil ring problem the only fix is remove pistons clean ring groves and oil feed holes Knurll pistons rering and good to go. Or mabee two or 3 oil changes in a row might clear them

just seperate the two halfs of head and pull it out is a good time to clean and inspect cam and rockers ect and reglue the head seam as they like to leak there

+1 driveshaft ujiont also had a 03 outback yesterday had gernaded front diff pinion berring. Pull front diff plug inspect for meatal debrie chips or theeth. Also check axles for dry cvs or looseness

Had a wrx that was doing this last week vilently under load was the screeen on the intank feul pump was pluged and no feul was making it to pump low prehsure outputt was causing misfires.
