Nope deul cam dosent interchange with single cam in those years can o worms need a 2.51 / 2.53 99-05 or 2.2 99-02 must be single cam phase 2 engine

just putt a 2.2 in a chaser yesterday i used the overflow from a 91 legacy on the 81 rad worked well had to make a simple bracket and rad stays full and overflow stays at half. Sounds like pluged rad check if bottom half is getting hot when at full temp fan on.

I whould use all managment from old engine cam gears crank gear intake ect then you know its a match take very little time to swap I always leave the intake atached to car never undoo feul lines and just flop intake over to ds put atowel down to keep from chiping fender

have you changed the rear feul fiilter ? and try bolwing some compressed air back thru the rear line into tank mabee sock intank is pluged carfull a little bitt of air is all or can damage tank and spray gas make shure cap is off and a rag loosly over filler hole. Must use marks on belt or count teeth have lined up marks on belt and cams dident point at the spot i expected them to all about the tooth count.

on top of bell housing is two small two wire plugs one grey one brown one is reverse light other is neutral switch unplug them when in reverse when lights go out got the right one

4 10/1.25 studs work well have done about 25 addaptor plates now no problems the two 10/1.25 studs come very close to eachother but do not touch eachother but is very tight to tap but doabble. And have never had a stud pull out as long as i tap it shallow
