need advice please tranny swap
on a side note....don't buy any parts in bend!!! everyone charges way too much.I learned the hard way:banghead: ... if you every take a trip to a bigger city IE: Portland, the u-pull type yards are the way to go. you can get the same stuff for 3x less (yes, price's are that bad in bend)

just to add, they made the D/R's till 89 not 88. as far as EA82 wagons go, they slightly changed the exterior and dash controls in 87. i personally dont like the older ones.87-89 i thnk are the best years. once 1990 came along the ea82's got striped down

hers my plan i will be getting my kenwood display and fabing the screen into the hole where the factory clock is. this unit will display the time, any info from my cd player(cd text, track #, FM station). i also got the compass unit for it, so it will display direction up to 3 lettters. thee is also a temp/voltage unit for it, but i dont think i will be getting it. I'l take pics when it comes in the mail.- The fun begins

damn, looks great. this is going to kick it in gear so i can finish my badgeless 2 bar- ? on swapping engines...
you can put you SPFI stuff on the carb motor..however you will have lower compression and your car will be slower that stock.as the first engine in my wagon was a carb block w/SPFI, and it sucked i doubt you need to swap your engine, check your pvc system- Central Oregon, here I come.

caboob- im running 48 offset 17x7.5 with 205 40 tires. they do not stick out past the fenderi dont have any rubbing issues owever i do have my fenders rolled- Found a new junkyard.

well i guess that my wagon was just weird than...i was soo used to it i thought they were all that way.- Doing cam cover seals & timing belts soon, anything else I should do?
since you pulling your engine. might as well do your front & rear main, and water pump too- EA82 door lock question
ok this is a little bit different: on the 89 gl coupe. anytime i get out and lock from the inside i have to hold the handle up when i shut the door. now on my 88 gl wagon i never had to do that. just lock the drivers door from inside and close the door. someone explain to me why this is.. were the coupes different in that way?- Smoking out Head/Tail lights
