Notice any excess moisture from your exhaust pipe? Possible you have a leak in your overfolw tank that sprays on your engine and evaps? Maybe the neighborhood animals have installed one of those hoses like my hampster had on it's cage so it could drink from your overflow tank and then run away and die?

There is a guy on ebay that imports JDM Subaru stuff. Type "Subaru engine" in the search bar and look for JDM in the title. You could also look for "subaru JDM" too. Good luck. If you are getting something imported have them throw a fine looking asain female in the crate. Like the ones I see at Hot Import Nights. Yummy. Hope this helps.

I will be changing my o2 sensor as soon as it gets here. I purchased a new OEM style o2 off ebay for $60.00 I just plug it in and go. Reset the CEL (pull the #14 fuse for a few hours) to clear all codes, then if this does not help I would simply turn the idle up a tad. Bang on your cat and see if it is a little clogged.

Do a search on the board for "legacy codes" and you should be set. I would clear the codes first and then see if they come back. There is a chance you have some old codes stored. Pull the #14 fuse and leave it out for a few hours, then re-install it. Drive your vehicle as usuall and then check for codes. These codes you should be able to cross reference with the info you find on the board. Hope this helps. Josh please give this person the link to the codes if you have it handy.

Speaking of Wal-mart...when I was younger I ahd a nissan with custom rims on it. I had just bought some new low-profile tires from a custom shop not far from my home and I figured I would have wally world put them on for me because I worked there and they could do it while I was art work, and save some greenbacks. I got my truck back at the end of my shift and drove home like always. This time wasn't like the others, two of my rims were shaking like crazy. I got out to investigate and there were only 2 of 6 lug nuts holding each rim on. Turns out they over torqued the sheeot of the lugs and stripped every single stud. They had to pay to tow the truck there and replace 24 lug nuts. I avoid wal-mart but get my tires from Sams. I stand by the bay to make sure they do not try anything funny.

I was at the bell yesterday when I noticed a 90 legacy wagon L AWD with the 5spd for sale in the parking lot. I called the guy on it and he wants $1,200.00 for it. He said it has a new radiator, new plugs, wires, Front CV Axles, and tires aren't bad either. The engine and tranny only have 140K on them....Is it worth it? Let me know because I am considering it...

I pulled the plug and drianed what I could get out then refilled it. I was thinking about changing both filters. It only slams into first when I really get on it but usually hesitates going into third all the time. I doesn't slip at all though. I have had cars with sliping tranny but this isn't one of them yet.

I put a 22mm impact socket on a long breaker bar and rested the breaker bar on a piece of wood coming up from the ground yet under the hood. Like previously mentioned...2 short bursts and it was free. MAke sure you tighten it up very well when you are done by removing the rubber plug behind the throttle body and insering a large screw driver and then tightening the crank bolt with said breaker bar and socket. I learned the hard way...My pulley came off the other day! That sucked. Never left the vehicle just backed out enought to make me angry.

Next time I'm in Dakkar I will be sure to nail some hottie (whom is not my wife) on the hood of the Roo Rally car and be sure to roll tape as well. So what if I have to get a divorce afterwords.....you only live once. Any fine females on the board wanna get their freak on..on the hood of a rally car. (mental note: turn my legacy into a rally car.)
