  4. ea 82 y pipe with 2inch back to dual right after the glass pack.this is what i have been running for over a year now.it sounds throaty and gives a little more power.it is a noticeable difference when you clean your cat out:grin: i am about to have to revert to an ea-81 y pipe again, and i will definitely clean out the cat on it.
  5. ed, your a junkie......glad to see you made it home alright.

always an optimist scott. and kenny, it would be really rad to see you at the show....just a couple of new things on monstaru you haven't seen:banana: and as far as the windshield goes,a certain part of a spark plug can crack it the rest of the way if you want to get it out easier. hope you find a solution.cheers, brian oh, and i still have that screwdriver
  7. "The 81 has some metal surrounding the shock cut away" can you expound upon this?are you talking about the horseshoe?
  8. have you done this?with a lift?just curious.
  9. i need mud tires.looks awesome mate.i have to say that i was skeptical when i saw you doing those rims up.but damn, thats sexy:headbang:

i have 4" at the motor and struts,3" at the tranny crossmember .fine on angles.
  14. it is really straight forward.just pay attention when you pull the motor, and you shouldn't have any probs .it does help if you have a clutch tool(just a little splined thingy to center the clutch before you tighten down the pressure plate,to the flywheel, which is attached to the back of the motor).:grin:cheers, brian
  15. alot of folks end up using some inner cups from an ea82.they are bigger in diameter and give more flex .i do not know how much .i have ben thinking about doing it as well.who knows,i know that i remember general disorder saying that he has been using them ,and having good results.cheers, brian
  16. know anyone with a jigsaw?
  17. nice, very nice.i am jealous that i did not think of it first.by the way if you need another idea after you tear thos eoff, let me know:brow:
  18. as far as i can remember, the wiring would not be different as long as they are both ea-81 motors.i would look into the gm alternator swap if you are going to be swapping things out.i love mine.no more moving voltage needle:grin: just search for raventbk's post on it and you will find a link to his swap. as far as everything else goes ,why would you change disties if you do not need to?
  19. it was like 35/64ths or something like that.i got it to match the splined part of the lugs for when i was going to do the hubs.then ended up drilling rims with it.it gave just enough room for the lug, match it with a countersink and voile'.cool thing about a countersink is it's ability to pretty much center itself.
  20. i used a large 3/4 inch countersink.you should be able to find one at your local machine shop supply store.
  21. ummm, willsomebody pick me up off of the floor ,it really hurts to type like this.
  22. the size of an oil cooler might be better.or an intercooler.just a thought.why would you need a reservoir?continous flow seems like it would be a more efficient way to handle that. you could probably get some copper coolant tubing that you could utilize .ya'know, like the coolant system on the back of a fridge.??i dunno, just babbling
