  4. it has held up to everything i have thrown at it so far, including gasoline, diesel, and brake fluid and brakleen... fixed the base of a 32/36 with it, never had issues.buddy fixed an injector boss on a marine diesel with it,no issues.I fixed a broken bleeder screw with it,no problems. is it designed for all of that?i dunno.but it has been used and abused thats for sure.i would say that the mixture is obviousluy the most important.getting the amounts proper is very important not only for set time, but also strength. it did not hold up to muriatic acid when i was trying to use it to fix a ding in 1911 frame.but i did not really expect it to:grin:......it just kinda dissolved off chunkily....... anyways.cheers, b

  14. If you guys want to start comparing the STTs to BFG A/Ts, we can always go get the BFGs big bro.... The BFG M/T TA KM2 is only $146 each. If you want some sidewall, compare that to the STT. i have set of those(BFG M/T TA KM2) for my 1st gen cummins.they are awesome when i remember where my air intake is.... and when i am above it they rip pretty well.I hear that the New MTR's are even more killer. but back to the subject.AT'sAvast.and the BFG is one of the best....period. cheers, b
  15. eggzachary people.he asked for an AT tire. And FYI mud that comes from the depths of Baja is some of the sickest mud i have seen in my life.....( i have lived in gumbo mud , desert mud, and now PNW mud)just sayin.it aint a swamper, it is not a cooper sst, but it is a highly capable all around tire..... cheers, me

  20. get your own thread if'n ya wanna talk about something other than MY car please:) cheers, b NOW, went on a road trip to an interview this weekend.she handled well even at 75mph.no sway bars was a skosch crazy next to semi's, but she powered through.it's amazing the topend power that i get with big rump roast tires at like 65 and up....nuts.top speed was about 90 passing a convoy of trucks.... people were looking at me like WTF!It was awesome.got several honks, head nods and waves from enthusiasts. cheers, b
  21. 12-03-2008, that was the date of that post.and 2 builds ago......with no tools downstairs...... since then i have read, bought tools, and read , and talked to folks, and read, and talked to folks, and wheeled with folks.that do know what i want to accomplish. then i bought more tools, and read some more.and read some more.and wheeled with some folks.and read some more. then started building ,and buying parts, and building , and buying parts. i may still not know what i am doing, but at least I am doing it..........I would rather build my ************ and never wheel it than buy something or have something built and not know ************ about it, or how to fix it on the trail. cheers, b
  22. Spokane is an ok place to live.Things are moderately priced. There are parts of town you wouldna want to live in, but that's anywhere. The weather is as simple as anything to explain.4 seasons.about 50 lakes within 100 miles, 4 ski mountains within 100ish miles etc.lots of mountain roads,a couple of ORV parks, and alot of other outdoor activities. no to much of a culture shock i am sure, more here than there for sure. Spokane is not my favorite, but i live here and have been ok with it for a while i guess. The housing market is not to bad here, although we are finally experienceing the recession job wise.Which would not matter to you i guess. overall an OK place to live.If you want more culture, i would go to the WEt side of the state though. cheers b
  23. don't fool yourself jeff.Walker is a DNR site.you WILL need it .the Northwest forest pass is for forest service land.(evans, naches, manastash)....it sucks , because they are making it a money issue, but without it they could shut these places down. its a double edge sword.they took our moneys that was originally funding these sites basically,(certain taxes, and such) but now they want to charge us more to use them.......oh well, guess you have to pay to play. cheers, b here are all of the gory details http://www.discoverpass.wa.gov/
  24. i clippedd the front like i did the back, and i still need to roll it a skosch.but the biggest issue is strut clearance.even with the spacers i have , any bigger and i would need a wider spacer.which i was not comfortable with trying out. cheers, b
