  1. Im not 100 percent but I dont think the 07 Impreza applies to the reflash. The last 07 Impreza I tried to reflash with the monitor didnt have an available file. Also, the cars are getting a little more sophisticated in that they sense mixture and temp and such and adjust idle and such kindof weird now. While I wouldnt call it "normal" it is for the car in many cases. I recommend a smooth calm approach, not trying to light butts on this. Just ask that they call Subaru and ask if there will be a reflash available soon for this model (if it isnt...it certainly may be now).
  2. I have had brakes that need adjusted badly make a bump noise in the rear. These do have an adjuster. I believe you turn it in till the wheel doesnt turn anymore then back it off 1 and a half turns with an additional half turn increment until it starts to roll easily again. Thats from memory though....every car I have had of this era except my currrent Brat I converted to disc brakes before needing this. A 1/4" square socket is needed to do this. The adjuster is bottom center on the backing plate and may have a rubber boot over it. (TRULY HOPE SO) Spray with PB blaster or similar lube to free it if it looks rusty.
  3. USMB shirts...$15 Sizes L-2X available. Bright Blue with yellow lettering and bright yellow with blue lettering. Any that are left after the show I will sell from my home via postal service. Please do not PM me, message me, etc about these just find me at the show. If you are not coming to the show and want one, I apologize but until I return I will not respond to PM's regarding this. First come, first serve, cash and money order only. Check if I recognize you. I may have room and bring a CCR engine, it will be an EA82 SPFI. Various USMB decals, priced as marked. Everything I have for sale will be sold right at my vehicle. If all goes well it will be an Orange Vanagon. If in the morning, I still havent sorted out an electrical problem I will drive my Lifted Silver 83 Wagon.
  4. Most would hook up to the point behind the radiator. They would only have to disconnect 1 hose to do the job.
  5. I think that is a DLR (Dealer) plate so it may be a Subaru tech from around here. I will ask around.
  6. Might try running it in D-Check mode where you drive it with the black connectors together see if it finds something. Might also try putting a vac gauge on it and see if the exhaust is plugged up from the motor? Are you sure you got all the bad gas out from it sitting that long? Fuel filter replaced already?
  7. Im not sure the water temp sensor will need changing if its the one inline with the heater lines I think yours will work still...
  8. I didnt get an email back...hoping my registration went thru. Also, hope my Vanagon wont get me charged $5 extra per person as its not a "subaru" cuz I think we all would agree its a Subaru or I wouldnt even own it.
  9. A little update on the plans. Bringing the Vanagon conversion. Once again comfort overrides what I would prefer to show off but all the same it will be nice to not sleep in a tent. Bringing a couple friends. One infamous. Also bringing.... USMB shirts if Flappys can beat my unreasonable deadline. If not it was worth a try and of no fault of the greatest shirt geeks around. Be certain that if you have a choice of where to spend your money on a shirt...buy a WCSS one first and a USMB one second. These shows only come once a year and are a special memory when you throw one on years to come. Ill be selling USMB shirts....well until the post office breaks my arm for filling their self service bin up at 3:00AM once a week. MWE Axles...just a few hopefully I wont return with any. If shipping is the only thing that stopped you in the past here is your chance. Two other vendors may send a sample with me if they can get them to me in time. I will update as details on this become clearer.
  10. IMO...It aint Super until its lifted but for now Grover is very appropriate unless you find a way to add perfect to the name as it is about as close as they come.
  11. Thats a pretty Subaru friendly Napa...ie they probably have more valve cover gaskets for Subarus in stock than Toyotas and Chevy's combined.
  12. You just saved me from looking at 10 minutes of pron. Thanks Maxie. This is the best pic though.
  13. Not if you have parking for them. Happy birthday dude!
  14. The Viscous LSD from a Turbo Legacy (91-94) works fine so I dont see how it wouldnt work the other way too.

  16. I think the turbo car may have an engine problem. Ill let JDM reply though.
  17. Please reply if you want to go. Either ride along or as a caravan more the merrier. I am thinking of leaving Wednesday after work and driving practically straight thru. Return to work Wednesday morning.
