  2. http://www.subarudrive.com/fall06_attic2.htm Link!
  3. I reinforced my hanger, it was fairly simple to do. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=2384&cat=500&size=medium http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=2383&cat=500&size=medium I ran a piece of metal along the bottom edge and welded it forming an inverted "T" shape. The idea being it's almost an "I" beam without interfearing with the gas tank.
  4. Take the on-line tour, it's as good as your going to get. I wouldn't call it a museum. It seems more like a warehouse For a handfull of old Subies. Take the on-line tour.
  5. Wow! The last time I saw one that clean was 1988! Keep the original rims just so you can make it bone stock when you don't need the clearance. Nice Work! Glenn, 82 SubaruHummer 84 GL Mad Max 01 Forester
  6. Don't do it!!! Why are you pulling it in the first place?
  7. You'll be back.... Your just taking some time off... We will miss you till you return with a new Subie...
  8. If your Tac is not reading then is your car really running? If a Tree falls in the forest.... never mind, these cold pills are really messing me up... Summer and Mad Max do this all winter long....
  9. It's been out on the road before... This was a stop over in Salt Lake on it way form Yuma to Oregon back in 03. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=8710&cat=500&ppuser=584 Stop by if your going to be in the neighborhood. Glenn, 82 SubaruHummer 84 GL Mad Max 01 Forester

    T-case

I has a pretty solid frame. I see no breaks in the body for a cab and a bed. The tires look like truck tires. I'm betting on some sort of bus. It's giving me ideas.....
  11. Nice Pics:cool: Way good looking Hatch!
  12. Your car handles better and quits pulling to the right:banana:
  13. The 82's should have come with them? http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/Literature/brochures/1982-brat-j.jpg The brochures show Brats with Center lamps? But by the time a car is 25 years old many changes can take place...
  14. All I can say is nice job! I wish I could join you on the 27th...
  15. Whatever works! I think it's a great idea.

    Not Stuck!

No Kubota tires although I wish I had the gears of a Kubota. Dirt Devil ATV tires 26X12X12. The lugs are 1.25" and I was running 12 psi. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=11729&cat=500&perpage=12&sort=3&ppuser=584 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=4968&cat=500&perpage=12&sort=3&ppuser=584 I switch off between some truck tires and the ATV tires depending on the situation. A few weeks before these pics were taken, the truck tires did better on the same terrain? (a little over a foot of grainy powder snow) I wanted to go play with "Summer" this weekend but it's suppose to be 8 for a high and - in the lows.:-\
  17. Wish those girls would move so I can see more of the car:lol: Three of those girls look alike:confused:
  18. Which side of the car is this on? Sounds like it might be a heat shield? If it is...you probably don't want to remove it.
  19. Hummm...a Subaru person attached to a Subaru? I know just what you mean. That's the reason I built the buggy, I couldn't part with my rusty Hatch after 20+ years.
  20. What about removing an axle for on-road use? On the buggy it takes around 30 seconds. Pound two pins, pull right, pull left, done. I'd imagine on the hatch it couldn't take more than 5 minutes once you have done it a time or two?
  21. Weld the diff in your Hatch and call it done!
  22. What is Rocky going away for:confused: ...and 15 minutes is not that far away... A core is a core is a core as far as I'm concerned.
  23. :slobber:Me want!:slobber: That white Brat leaves me speechless...
