  4. yeah, I ended up losing tranny, clutch, and both axles last year
  5. awesome!! http://webhost1.inspire.net.nz/~nyloc/Toybaru/
  6. most definitely 1800 ea81
  7. Nice one Skip. I can take the dark blue brat if you need to make room
  8. I have mine plugged off in my 87 wagon with a ea81/weber dropped in it....
  9. mcbrat replied to Jibs's topic in Off Road
they are 30x9.50x15's on Chevy white spokes.... the brat has long since been parted out, but I still have from it: doors, hood, wheels, fenders
  10. it's an 85 Hatch. is it 4WD or FWD? DL, GL, or STD? only way it would be a 1600 is if it was a 2WD STD or DL.... (I believe) ea71 = 1600 OHV ea81 = 1800 OHV ea82 = 1800 OHC
  11. I can send you 5 if you want I have a huge bucket of bolts from all the parting out I've done....
  12. mcbrat replied to Jibs's topic in Off Road
just beat it back. I beat mine back about 3", and that was with a 4/3 BYB lift. But that was for 30's. the leading edge of the door hinge was even with the "new" back of the wheel well no pedal issues. may have to re-adjust doors as they could move from the pounding.
  13. 10mm head. same size as the bolts that hold on the spare tire support bar.
  14. look underneath the bed of the brat, right in front of the drivers side rear wheel. there is a bracket under there that hold the primary fuel filter. change that out for sure... most likely your fuel issue... check to see if you have any brake fluid leaking around the booster. (the big black part the master cylinder bolts to) If it is, then your master cylinder needs replaced or rebuilt. SeaFoam is a engine tune-up/cleaner. works wonders on a gummed up carb and fuel lines. usually available at NAPA and Advance AutoParts. And welcome to the Board
  15. okay, definitely looking at August. anybody have a weekend preference for August....?
  16. closing. a new thread will be forthcoming for actual ordering....
  17. Chux, what are you wanting to do with the brat? an off-roader? restore job? I have a 87 with the same wheels as the eBay one, that I haven't decided what to do with it yet... it's only got 59k on it....
  18. etched, pint or mug, no matter...
  19. the telescoping magnet trick won't work. I tried using one of themto get something out of the bottom of a door. kept getting stick on the rails, and collapsing. possibly a flexible rod magnet would work. but I'd still try the bolts...
  20. if it would have been rubbing, you would have known as soon as you started it, since the flywheel is always turning... on the bottom of the bellhousing, there is a small plate held on with 2 10mm bolts. it covers the bottom of the flywheel. it'll be tight, but you might be able to get at those bolts to get that plate off, and see if it comes out through the hole... I usually run w/o the plate for a variety of reasons, and no issues.... might have the jack up the tranny a bit to get at 'em.... PS. if you send me your addy, I can send you a rubber cover.....
  21. the ball seat ones are needed for the 15" alloys. the 14" alloys, and any pug steels can use acorn style nuts...
  22. a pug shop, or find some 12x1.25 nuts with a ball seat....
  23. I have that on my water choke weber, and I loved it....
  24. a ways down this page, there are clickable thumbnails of a couple of soobs. 2 of my 82 Brat, and one of MorganM's wagon... http://www.peelout.net/pictures.htm these were taken at the Timber Ridge Trailride last September....
  25. there has to be some text coming across with the page for it to catch it.... if you go to the main WCSS page, and go to "View Source" you might be able to see what the keywords are....
