is this one viscous fan clutch and one electric clutch? i wonder if the viscous/thermostatic clutch is bad.... nipper

It's a long shot. If your car is pinging (you cant always hear it) thats an uncontorlled explosion in the cylinder. This will make unwanted heat at the worng time and can result in a hotter running engine. Going to a higher grade of fuel slows down the flamefront (reduces ping) so the heat is managed as per design. Like i siad its a long shot. When was the last time the tranny was serviced? Does the temperiture rise change with the setting of the coldness of the ac? nipper

Are the condensor fins straight? HAve you tried a differnt grade of fuel? i'll admit im runing out of ideas... nipper

Easiest way is to pull a vaccum on the system. If you cant pull a vacum you have a leak. You can use N2 and a snifer, or Refridgernat and a sniffer. There is a mix of N2 and Refridgerant made for the purpose of leak testing. 90% of the time the vac alone will be good enough. You only need the others to trace a leak. A venturi vacume pump wont work. You need a real vac pump to pull down the vac and hold it. Some things you just have to pay a shop to do sometimes. nipper

OK NOW your being difficult ..... Didi you say you had a differnt front bumper skin? I would pull that off and see what happens.

Did you forget a vacum hose someplace? nipper

Anyone can help??

Step one, remove wheel and inspect brake. Bet you need front brakes, and from the sounds of it possibly a stuck caliper or shot wheel bearing. nipper -
There is another post like this, hence my confusion... You need a radiator. nipper

Also stick your head under the hood (with the car off) and make sure all the fan blades are accounted for. A broken blade can make a loud fan too. nipper

Like everything, there is an inside and an outside. The outside looked fine, but i bet the inside is clogged. The car is old enough for that to happen. nipper

A/C pointers, compressor not engaging on its own?

Sheesh, i thought my dashboard was getting busy nipper -
CHeck your voltages. If the voltage drops the temp gauge will read higher. i am a little confused here, exactly what are we calling "hot" on the temp gauge? nipper

That didnt answer my question. Just because they spin doesnt mean they are working. Is there any play in the can shaft bushings? Do they spin freely by hand? Can you check how much amperage they are drawing? nipper

its looking more and more like a bad radiator, but i know that rads for these things are expensive, so would rather have you inspect/replace everything else first. What voltage is your charging system putting out? What condition are your rad fan motors in? nipper

Have you thrown gauges on the ACsystem to make sure its properly charged? nipper

If the impeller is stamped and not cast, yes it is possible. The impeller wears away with time. nipper

Which leads to the question, when was the last time the cooling system was serviced anyway? nipper
