comatosellama replied to fishboy's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI've heard of putting a football or basketball under the dent, fill it up, and it apparently pops the dent out

Put on the front lift. Removing the original struts took a 10 foot breaker bar and a lot of heat. Still need to source new top hats for the rear, the rear left is crunchy and dangerously rusty. Been thinking about making custom trailing arm droppers. How dangerous is just running a longer bolt through a peice of square stock? I'm pretty sure the answer is that it's not safe, just wanted some outside thoughts.

Ignition wire amps?
Try using a relay. Should handle the volts better

Have a question about the Crosstrek? Ask an owner!
Couldn't you theoretically swap in a 2.5 from a new fozzy?

Rear Differential Oil Seal
I had just finished letting it cool from welding it and I figured it'd be easier outside of the car. Up to the top lol. Thankfully came out the rear seal where like the lugs are so I just took it off and siliconed it properly and filled it correctly

Rear Differential Oil Seal
Unless you fill it out of the car, vertically. That was an oops moment

Issues with an 06 outback
Could I use any phase 2 ej25? Or are they on to phase 3 or something where the block won't work
-
Issues with an 06 outback
I figure if it turns over then the block must be okay, right?

Issues with an 06 outback
Looks to be about 400 for the rebuild kit? Seems that a used form like a 99 or 2k would be more economical?

Issues with an 06 outback
Thinking about getting an 06 outback froma yard. Barely moves, would appreciate some help diagnosing Symptoms Coolant comes out of head at a noticable rate barely runs, doesn't really move apparently an exhaust valve or lifter is seized Was thinking new head gaskets, valves and lifters, possibly do the belts and water pump while I'm at it. Worst case just grab any old phase 2 and swap it in (using the 06 manifold)

2 questions - 95 impreza ej18
1. Will ej25 plugs fir in the ej18? Have some brand new iridiums, would rather not have them sit. 2. I'm getting a whirring style noise with speed. It got a little better when I topped off the rear diff, but I'm worried it may be wheel bearings. Boots are fine. Tires are crap, as are brakes. Should I start with replacing the pads first before trying to get at the bearings? Also, I have nothing in the very back, like no spare, styrofoam or floor. Is the lack of noise insulation through there enough to make a loud whirring noise? Trying to upload a video I took with the noise Thanks - CL Edit: Answer to #1 is yes
