  1. What do the RX springs do for your brat? Would it make a difference if I dissconnected the front swaybar? BTW where is the front sway bar?
  2. We all know that subies camber in the front. My lifted wagon definately has camber in the front. So what have you other lifted EA81 guys done to fix the camber issue? I dont want to be rotating tires all summer to slowly wear them down to nothing. Thanks
  3. Lookin good. Maybe this summer you can drive to bozeman and help me put one on. Then we can go test them out.
  4. You could always try. I have seen a friends 90OBW do some pretty deep water before. Just dont go fast into it. Go slow and steady the whole way.
  5. looks like that EJ22 really cranks those tires. Really nice pictures. Definately deserves a bananna. Love the Dangerous sticker.
  6. Well after he turned back around to get me the wagon did stutter to a halt. We let it dry for a few minutes then it fired right up. Im gonna be doin a few deep water crossings this summer.
  7. Completely stock in every way. Even had crappy touring tires on it. Yep subarus can swim.
  8. Wow thats pretty thick Ice. good thing those kumhos are 6ply otherwise yikes . Always a pleasure to see the imp romping. come to think of it I havent seen the impreza going through a mud pit yet.
  9. This is my friends completely stock 89 GL fording some water no problem. At the begining of the clip you can see a Huge Blazer in the background. He came through the crossing with his 39s and thought he was soo cool. Then he turned around and saw this stock suby with 23in tires go through like it was no biggie. Suck on that chevy http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=10009&cat=733
  10. you wanna see some deep water check this out. This is the video to the pic that scott put up in his first post. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=10009&cat=733
  11. This pic is of MSSLGecko with his lifted turbo wagon and my wagon when it was stock. That is woot4roos standing next to Noah. I took the pic. Montana subies.
  12. Yeah that was my friend drving a completely stock EA82 wagon. Whenever I do deep crossings I just drive at a slow speed through it. Enough to keep my momentum, but not enough to shoot water into my engine. Some WD40 and a nice hot dry day to dry out the suby. I did this water crossing where a HUGE Dodge 4x4 with like 8in of lift and mad tires went first and made it of course then I went and slowly putting a long the water with it coming over my hood. Then to leave I had to do it again. Carb got wet, disty got wet still ran.
  13. You have your own Subaru zoo! 2 lifted wagons very nice.
  14. Damn that looks good. I can totally imagine your imp with a 6in lift and moster mud terrains.
  15. 89 XT6 grey with black hood.
  16. If you don't have an optima you HAVE to have one. My optima has saved me multiple times. Run out of gas and just put in second and crank on it and limp along to a safe spot or to the closest gas station.
  17. I think they make a 28x9.5x14 maybe even 27x9.5x14. That would be sweet to have wider tires.
  18. Good job.Now all you need is swampers.
  19. Very nice video. I wouldn't enter the mud pit quite that fast, could shoot water into the engine. I only enter mud pits that fast if I realy need some momentum to make it. Looked like a sweet place to wheel. Rage that brat:burnout:
  20. hey shady can you add a rear tire carrier on the tube bumper?
  21. Im down for subaru hats with our board names on the back. Flexfit would be nice. Maybe we could do both flexfit and regular adjustment hats. I'd be willing to pay extra for a flexfit.
