They are the ugliest swampers they make. I think they look like crap and don't look very affective. Smaller and skinnier lugs. I don't like the way they made the lugs look haggard.
  3. And of course they are much shinier than the XT6 wheels. But probably not for long.
  4. Yeah that Imp was loaded to the gills. Looks really nice though Austin. I can't wait til its even beefier. Maybe the next time we meet up I'll come to WA and wheel with ya.
  5. Kinda like my paint scheme I was thinking of doing.
  6. I would love to see all that old suby brawling footage. I'm sure alot of other people would like to see it too.
  7. Looks like you need a lift for that thing. Then get some 29s. Also I would love to see that thing do mud doughnuts with them tires.
  8. If you see any XT6s let me know I need basically the whole right rear suspension off a 5sp AWD XT6. If you wanna take the parts off and send them too me I'll pay whatever.
  9. Since it was in perfect condition I would say call it totalled and get as much as possible out of it. I got my XT6 screwed too but I need the right rear suspension set up and I haven't found anything yet. Either way good luck.
  10. Those WRX rims look nice all muddy. Looks like you need a lift for that wagon. To bad we don't have muddy trails like that here. They've closed every single trail around here. Damn hippies.
  11. So where are we supposed to get replacement air filters for our weber carbs? Are there any aftermarket filters like K&N, cool blue? Thanks
  12. That hatch is gonna be sweet with a lift and tires, but then again all hatches are sweet!
  13. That brat is nice and shiny. I wonder if its gonna get lifted? BTW: that's a cool dog.
  14. Awesome video. Very goog choice in music. DeL is the man.

    How about LiL RAD
  16. Im with you man. I just got a weber on my wagon and I can definately feel more power/torque. I probably didn't gain much horsepower, but I did gain a good amount of torque. So a weber is basically all you can do to an EA81 an get a noticable amount of power gain. Engine swap is where its at. Either way with a weber I can do this . Before I got a weber whenever I gassed it it felt like my car was doin this .
  17. That was sweet. Looks like you need some more power to do some dougnuts. That is a sweet little sand area to brawl. Maybe a mild homemade lift would help the offroading. Keep up the 4x4ing.
  18. Yes it does kinda sound like a dirt bike but I like that. And it does rev up faster than before, but that's because my old cat was completely clogged. It doesn't sound as clanky once im driving, but I love the sound.
  19. http://videos.streetfire.net/search/power+windows/0/AC461471-A388-4BDD-A0FB-37E5CDB67765.htm Check out this video of modified power windows. These will slice your whole arm off cleanly.

That is a good point. stock size tires for an EA81 is 22.6 in, but once you get a lift you can fit up to 28in tires. That'a a 23% difference. So yes bigger tires will make your 4lo a little bit higher, but you will gain a lot more ground clerance. So its up to you what you want. I just make up for the higher 4lo with more power.
  21. It's not quite as loud when your actually driving. It's really only loud when you let off the gas at high RPMs. But while accelerating its a smooth tone.
  22. I just wanted to see if anyone else has spent a good amount of money on an old subaru exhaust before. I just got a $250 exhaust set up as a birthday present from my Dad. Took the cat out of the Y Pipe and replaced it with a 2in Pipe to a Speedrex muffler. It definatley help in horsepower, and fuel economy. My car seems to run fine without the cat or resonator. Heres a short video I uploaded of the exhaust: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=11084&cat=642 Here are the pics:
  23. Thats some great terrain for a baja. Looks like you ran into some mud, but not much. Might want to go back there when it rains for some real mud. Also what kind of tires are you running? Log trails are where its at.
