  1. Hey andy what relays are you going with? I Just ordered up some new off-road lights but they dont come with wiring kits. I was thinking i could get relays cheaper than a complete wiring kit. -Brian
  2. Ive been looking for 14" rims in 6lug for quite some time now. Im trying to avoid buying brand new rims cause the selection out there is kinda lame. Unless i want basic 8 spoke steels, theres not much out there in the way of 14" rims. What im really looking for are some Dodge D50 rims. Something like this: I spent the day at 4 different junkyards... and every truck in every yard was rimless. What gives?!? IS there some type of rim junkie out there snatching up all the rims out there? I asked a guy at one of the yard if there's a place that sells used rims, but he was no help. I also stopped at les shwab, but their selection sucks! Anybody have a lead on some 14" 6lugs out there that wont break my bank? Thanks -Brian
  3. Yeah... adjust your struts back down. Other than that, there's no way unless you modify your upper strut mounts, or your lower control arm. -Brian
  4. search google for "tire calculator" There's a pretty good calc online that gives you tire sizes based on xxx/xxRxx. -Brian
  5. GLad you got them finally. Are these going on the wagon or coupe? or both? -Brian
  6. Wont be too soon, thats a different story tho. (Lease doesnt expire till end of August). -Brian
  7. You can drive all over sacramento and search every house that is 5638 and would probably take you weeks to find the street I live on. You could punch my license plate into most any computer these days and find my address in a matter of minutes. Im not too worried about anyone knowing my house number -Brian
  8. Take some rope with you next time. Remove a spark plug, rotate the crank until that piston is at the bottom of its rotation. Feed the rope into the cylinder through the spark plug hole. Fill the cylinder with rope. Rotate the motor until the piston tries to compress the rope. It wont be able to, and it will lock the motor in place and allow you to remove the crank pulley. -Brian
  9. The links probably wont work until after the weekend. Gotta make more progress on the hatch so I have something to put up. -Brian
  10. p.s. Dialup users might wanna get somethin to drink. Its pretty graphic intensive. -Brian
  11. Well, its been a while since i did anything with my website. Today I made a new front page for it. http://www.subaru4wd.net I have to make individual pages for each car... so forgive the 404 error on the links. Not quite sure how im gonna setup and design everything. -Brian
  12. ANd yeah, you will be losing something. Youre going to destroy a very expensive brush guard. Something you could get a few hundred bucks for. But, your right... it was free, why do you care. Except for the fact your car is gonna look like rump roast with a hacked up brushguard on it. -Brian
  13. Phiz... they label the 205/75's as 27x.8.5... but in actuallity they measure out to 26.1" in hieght. And they are say 205/75R14 on the sidewall. Not sure why they are advertised as 27x8.5, probably cause its easier for ppl to read and understand that. -Brian
  14. I did the silicone trick, and it worked pretty good. But 1st time I had to remove the cap I ruined my silicone job. The boot is simple and ive never ran into problems. I also ran a piece of hose from the vent, but instead of running it to the air intake I ran it to a clear fuel filter. -Brian
  15. More specificly... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showpost.php?p=206940&postcount=3 -Brian
  16. We, as in the USMB http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=59228 -Brian
  17. Since we were talking about snorkels and all, i thought it would be a good idea to bring up the rubber disty cover. Toyota 22R's have a rubber boot that covers the distributor cap. I found one in the junkyard, and it's almost a perfect fit. All you need to do is cut a small section away to clear the vacuum advance. Here's one I found on ebay, there are a few others listed: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyota-Pickup-Truck-4Runner-22R-22RE-DISTRIBUTOR-COVER_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33550QQitemZ8072427399QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW -Brian
  18. I paid $80 for a block. I think a shortblock is just over $100 with no intake etc... -Brian
  19. 3" lift... and no cutting? Get 14" rims and go with the 205/75R14 Kumho Venture MT's. Or the COoper Discoverer STT in the same size. 15" rims, you can find some swampers but trimming will need to be done. -Brian
  20. You said this is a junkyard your getting the wagon from right? instead of getting the wagon, just get the wagons motor and tranny. Simple swap, and i sure hope a JY isnt gonna charge you $300 for that. -Brian
  21. I got my stickers! Thanks PK!! I just have to wait till i re-install my lift before I can put them on my hatch. -Brian
  22. Wow i cant believe how well those things fit!! -Brian
