  1. How else is the window going to go up and down? ANd your wagon has different glass than the hatch. So, i doubt the tracks would work the same. -Brian
  2. I wont have to PM you... im sure you, and the rest of the USMB will know when its running -Brian
  3. Not hard if you know how to wire it. You need the window track, motor and switches from the donar car. If your car is EA81, the window control box module is located under the drivers seat. You may need that as well. -Brian
  4. Here's the rack i had him make for me: He sent it bare metal, i primed it and coated it with bedliner. Here's the bumper I had him make for me: -Brian
  5. Got all the parts to put it back together... just gotta get off my rump and do it. -Brian
  6. Thats what i'd usually do, but im putting my EA82T back together and the lifters have been sitting out for weeks with no oil. I dont want to just put them back in. I was thinking of soaking them in a tub of MMO for a few days before putting them in the engine. -Brian
  7. Buddy. A set of 14" alloys would look really sharp on that wagon. That color wagon will go with almost anything, so even 15's wouldnt look bad. The 5lug swap isnt a bad idea, but its ALOT of work for an extra lug. If you want to do it for the suspension then thats another thing. Anyhow, there is a set of 14" alloys in the yard here. And 15's come and go, i've pulled so many pug alloys out of the Sac PnP... i cant remember how many. -Brian
  8. Thats a very good pic. I should be able to get the RX running soon and be able to come down to see it in person. I gotta meet up with Russ to talk to him now, since he left the board and all Looks like that car could use some rims. -Brian
  9. I was thinking the same thing. I dont wanna be wearing my hat and get a bunch of "whats WCSS stand for" questions. Its gonna be hard to make it more subaru related without ripping off the logo. I was gonna work some more in photoshop, but it seems the officials have decided on the license plate thing. That and i spent the day in the garage today instead of on the PC. -Brian
  10. Cameron had a really great article on fixing the lifter tick on our EA82's with step by step instructions on rebuilding them. The page no longer exists on the server, did anyone happen to copy or backup the data anywhere? I tryed the wayback machine but the images arent cached there, so there is only text. -Brian
  11. I like the license plate idea much better as well. But how much is that gonna cost to stitch? I was trying to keep it 2 tone and simple. -Brian
  12. Yeah, i'd like to get an actual mug, not a cup this year. I gotta get something to replace the WCSS6 mug that was stolen from me. -Brian
  13. I got a set sitting here next to me. Quality looks to be pretty good, no defects or differences between OEM. I havent installed it yet, but its definatly the best deal ive come across. -Brian
  14. Rob Im going to work on something else that doesnt have our logo... or a subaru logo in it. I have another idea. that may look better and have less stitches. -Brian
  15. Yeah i read something about it going to tex. Could have saved $90 tho. Oh well. -Brian
  16. Okay ive come up with my entries. and if you wanted to slim it down even more and take the "eighth annual" out: I dont think this is considered using copyrighted logo's, since this is the altered logo i made for the USMB a while back. Its in simple black & white, the person doing the stitching could use any color thread they desire. I vote for yellow on blue and white on black. I would buy one of each. -Brian p.s. on the back around the strap I'd put "west coast subaru show 8" or something.
  17. At least your dealership knows what a old subie looks like. I went to our local dealership once in the RX, and the lady at the counter was suprised when she learned my car was a subaru. She probably thought it was some kind of honda. I have a buddy that works the parts dept there tho, so if i need parts usually i ask him. But I find Napa to be alittle easier to deal with, now that i can use them through work -Brian
  18. Damn noah... you said you werent leaving until the 14th! I really could have used that block this weekend ( Glad you were able to make it over the pass w/out any troubles. Ive broken down once about 80miles past redding once on that trip. It sucked. -Brian
  19. Hey thats it!! Can we use our logo?? Do we need permission to do that? -Brian
  20. I love my hats, and i'd be willing to spend up to $50 for a good hat that will last years and fit right. Most the hats I end up buying cost between $15 & $30. -Brian
  21. Subaru's 1st 4WD Model was released in '76/'77. I Dont even think Audi was in production back then... I think the 1st Audi Quattro was in '80 or '81/'82. Regardless... Subaru stole their 4WD system from NOBODY. -Brian
  22. They might have a copyright on the logo, but i bet you they cant stop us from using the stars! I'll get to crackin! What kinda hats are you gonna get? Im a hat junkie as well, but can only wear certain hats that fit right. Cheap hats just dont work as well. -Brian
  23. Lift the hood. If the intake sais SPFI its a Single Port Fuel Injected model. If it sais MPFI, its a Multi Port Fuel Injected model. If it just sais SUBARU, and you have to remove that to get to the air filter... then its carburated. -Brian
