  1. Love the rake Brad... back to ME!! Can i use these 3 struts to make a combination that wont slam my car? How about maybe a mini lift, .5" or 1" to lift the front a tad. I dont want tire rub -Brian
  2. I better check and make sure, cause I think ive only gotten 3 or 4. I will check your webpage for magazine covers and see which ones I am missing. -Brian
  3. I think if you do it.... ...you better not come back. -Brian P.S. Only kidding. P.S.S. wait, no im not
  4. I shouldnt have to. I paid for a subscription and they have my address. Autoweek, Motor Trend and Car & Driver have no problem getting their magazines to my door every month. -Brian
  5. I revved really loud when I passed by your House Jeremy I didnt see any cars out front, so I didnt stop by. Then should we shoot for a tuesday/wednesday? Eli, I will get all the XT6 parts you need... but you gotta pick them up, and PROMISE you'll pay for them, cause I cant afford to front the $$$ and plan on gathering parts for the WCSS Swap Meet. -Brian
  6. One complete year and ive gotten 3 issues????!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was this not a monthly subscription? I hope my $20 got me more than 3 issues!! -Brian
  7. Well, i saw a 2WD XT at the junkyard today. I remember Brad_styles telling me about the 2WD Struts being the ones to use to lower my car. I also remember him saying something about 2WD GL Struts lowering the front, but not as much as the XT. I got some 2WD Loyale struts a couple weeks ago, but since this 2WD XT was there, i thought i'd take a gander at its front suspension. BADABING!!! Shiny new KYB GR2's!! So yeah, i swiped em. I Want to put them in the RX but I dont want to SLAM my car. I want the front alittle lower, but this looks too low (this is Brads car, with 2WD XT struts): That and I have 15" Pug alloys that stick outside the fenders.... Im almost positive my tires will rub so is there any type of combination I can use to make a good strut with less than 1.5" drop? I have my RX struts, 2WD Loyale struts and now XT GR2's. Anyone have any suggestions? -Brian
  8. Okay guys. We gotta get together and do a yard run. I will have a trailer for the WCSS and i want to gather some much needed parts that others would be interested in. Me and Jibs went to the Sparks Yard, and there is a XT6 there that Eddy wants to get the 5 lug stuff from. I need some interior pieces, and would like to score some rare parts. So when? I can request a saturday off from work, but need a week or so in advance. There's always Tuesdays & wednesdays too. How about we try to get BigBlue in on the action this time New faces are always nice. -Brian
  9. Wish i had that luxury. We'll save a smore for you from the campfire. -Brian
  10. We got a shout out in the Subiesport mag? Is this the new one? Which issue Cuase i havent seen it. Welcome to the board -Brian
  11. Was made for GT3, so PS2 Ive connected it to my PC and WinXP auto detected a Logitec USB Device. I was able to configure all the buttons in XP but the force feedback didnt work. I have a legacy seat i was going to use with it, and setup a dedicated GT bench... but dont have room or time and decided its worth more as money in the bank than collecting dust in the closet. -Brian
  12. Just 2 paychecks to go until the big show Time is a wasting and I havent gotten anything done to prepare. But as long as gas stations still stock 91 octane and there is air in the RX's tires... I will be there -Brian
  13. I dont think i'll have room for mine. Coupe has very limited space. I have a force feedback steering wheel, Logitech, for GT3 that i may bring. If anyone is interested in purchasing it cause I dont want to bring it back Dont play much anymore. -Brian
  14. Yeah austin... MOVE TO CALIFORNIA!!!! -Brian
  15. I miss it too... well, the off-roading. Its been over a year since my Wagon has moved I have pictures and video too -Brian
  16. Yeah i just did another oil change on my RX as well. Good thing I was the one who put the last filter on No need to overtighten the filter, it will be comming off in 3,000 miles anyway. Avoid Fram oil filters. I bought a Napa brand this time, i trust them more than Fram. -Brian
  17. Yes, i have a EA81... but even EA82's shouldnt have any negative camber. If you have adjustable front struts, make sure they are adjusted down all the way. If you have your struts extended you will get negative camber. -Brian
  18. Mine has never eaten any tires. But, I dont have any negative camber either. -Brian
  19. Instead of Labaroo call it the Subagini and paint it blue with the yellow stars -Brian
  20. I'll just send my RX to someone and have them do it -Brian
  21. When you say tranny... do you mean AWD?? KICKASSS!!!! -Brian
  22. The 1st thing I learned about mechanics are to never listen to mechanics. 98% of the mechanics you run into only want your money and will tell you whatever they think will scare you into leaving your car there for a complete engine overhaul. if you dont fix your gaskets, and all the oil leaks out, and you drive your car with no oil... then yes, your engine will die. If you keep oil in it, your engine will last forever (well, until something ELSE breaks 1st). Our engines are Horizontally opposed. The pistons lie flat. This means, the combustion chamber has oil in it when the engine is at rest. This helps keep the combustion chamber lubricated as opposed to V or Inline engines where just the crank is submersed in oil. Get your car to pass smog 1st, then worry about the ticking and oil later. I think your worrying too much about nothing. Do you have any hesitation when you drive? Does the car stall? Do you see any smoke out the tail pipe? Anything OTHER than a small puddle of oil under your car that worries you? Ive owned 13 Subarus. They've ALL leaked oil (to the amount of a quart or more every couple weeks) and almost everyone of them has had a horrible clacking caused by the lifters. This is the way all subaru's are, and to a new owner or a novice this may scare you. Don't worry about it. -Brian
  23. Only suggestion i can give would be to put some plate under each rear tail light to take some of that gap. Other than that, they look great. -Brian
  24. Woah, is that all? Hell, our shop charges $74 an hour and that is for piddily little lawn mower engines and bobcats etc.. -Brian
  25. CCR isnt cheap, but they are the best... and you get what you pay for. If all your engine is doing is leaking oil, a cheap fix would be to buy a case of oil and carry it with you. The tick of death is normal and even tho it sais "death" in the title, it will NOT cause any damage to your engine. Just your ear's. Is your car still blowing smoke out the tail pipe? -Brian
